American Heritage Bank S Main St, Sapulpa

I had been with Arvest for 17 years but they misinformed me on several occasions which cost me money and refused to help me or correct their mistakes. I moved all of my accounts to American Heritage Bank and I have never been happier. Definitely recommend!

I used to have an account here. When I first ordered checks, they sent them to some unknown address. It took forever to get a box of checks. They also wouldn't reverse an overdraft although my paycheck showed that it cleared before the bill, then it showed pending. It looked sketchy so I called. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and refused to help me. I told her I had never had an overdraft and would like to have a one time reversal. She said no, we don't do that. I told her I was going to close my account. She said fine, whatever. Terrible customer service, both in person and on the phone. Would not recommend.

Worst customer service EVER! Don't bank here!! My friend had a large amount of money stolen from her account at this bank. She showed up 10 mins before closing (as soon as she discovered her money was gone.) and Gina REFUSED to help her that day. Gina told her they couldn't help her today and she should come back tomorrow. My friend went back the next day (today 9/2/21) and the other teller was nice, professional and apologetic, But Ms. Gina was rushed, impatient, rude, unempathetic, unapologetic and demanding that "these things happen all the time" and "if you use online banking it helps to avoid these issues." I am shocked! No apology!!!!!!!!??? Nothing. Kudos to all the tellers at American Heritage Bank who take the time to care about the customers. The other teller went above and beyond. it's a shame they have to overcompensate for Gina's messy behavior.... It sounds like Ms. Gina needs to move on if she hates her job that much.

Years of dealing with this bank has proven to me that they are the most incompetent financial organization that has ever existed. If you travel, do not use them. If you close your accounts expect a bill. You will recieve no help from the staff, and their online system is a complete joke of a financial system. Your records are only available to you for a 6 month period. After that you better have backups during tax season, because they remove everythingfrom their server. Terrible, terrible bank.

I have always had a great experience with American Heritage Bank I enjoy the mature employees who seem grateful to have a job and know how to be friendly to the customers.

Banks are one of the MOST important businesses in our society and you're closed on weekends and close before 5. Who gets off work before 5 pm? I'll never be able to get my debit card back after they cancelled it. I'm gonna have to take off work just to get a debit card how sad is that? Who made that decision? They should be fired

AHB has been our bank since we moved here 20 years ago and we've had no problems with them. Recently, though, AHB changed their debit cards to Transfund/Mastercard, and did not alert checking account holders that it also increased the cost of banking. We now pay $4/month, an increase of $1. That's $48/year for a basic checking account! You'd never know unless you watch your statements. I would change to a different bank with free checking, but AHB is the most convenient for me.
