He caused my buyer to lose $5000 by negligence and dishonesty. This guy is a fraud; he lied to everybody including myself and the title company. He should never be in the mortgage business.

Great experience working with AFN. I am not normally a person to indulge "telemarketers" or "Spam callers" , but Mark Baker just happened to catch my attention when he called. AFN offered a great rate and we were able to get our home refinanced quickly and efficiently. Honestly, every time we heard from them the deal got better and better and there was no "Catch". Every bit of the process was transparent and the communication was great. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a home loan or refinance.

I initially bought my house with the help of Jason and at the time of my purchase, I thought it would be impossible to get something nice within my budget. Jason broke down how things would be if i really wanted the house and told me how the payments will be slightly higher than usual. I agreed to that and he made the impossible happen, we bought the house. He didn’t stop there. After a year later which is now, he touched base with me and refinanced my house for better payments and still have a good rate! He helped us removed multiple things from our mortgage to help us pay less. He has a such an excellent team that strives only for perfection and care. Thank you Jason!

Took almost 4 months to refinance. Worst experience ever. Totally unorganized. Don't even know what documents are needed until the last minute, they were scrambling to be compliant with documentation even after I signed closing documents. Due to the delay in process on bank side, my documents and rate lock needed updating multiple times. No good point of contact. Most of the staff that I was working with, left the company half way through. No one else ever came in charge as my primary contact. Most horrible experience ever, would not recommend this bank to anyone.

Leo always picked up his phone and texted me back within 15 minutes. In this day and age and how everything is so fast paced, I really appreciated that speedy turnaround time. Not only was he my lender, he was also my therapist. What a roller coaster ride the last 46 days have been, just like he predicted from the start. He gave me reassurance like a big brother support, I never had. I'm not a fan of surveys, but if you're asking about Leo's performance, I would do this survey 10 times over.

If you ever liked being treated as family then Marla should be your go to every time you need to help in securing a loan. In today’s world it is hard just finding someone who cares about their job much less their clients and Marla is definitely the exception! In the middle of this crazy buyer’s market we ended up selling our house very quickly and our plans had to change up almost overnight to accommodate. Marla came to our rescue (again) and was so willing to put in the work necessary that she even stopped what she was doing during a family vacation just to ensure some last minute financial records were in place for my loan. Marla’s flexible schedule and willingness to do what it takes in order to help her clients is the reason why I could never fathom going anywhere else to secure a loan.

My experience with the particular loan agent, Mackenzie Alexander, I had was bad. We missed closing four times because of them things were not communicated to me until right before closing no consideration for any kind of request for updates no answers to phone calls text messages or emails even when I was pretty much begging for some kind of update. The only way I got an update was calling corporate I also reached out to the regional manager in the Florida area and he was absolutely amazing I wish I would have switched over to him sooner. We were about 3 days away from being homeless and I have two kids. If we had different sellers they definitely would have pulled out of the sale after it took nearly 3, 4 missed closing dates, and constant begging for updates to close. So many of the issues that made us miss closing could have been resolved really quickly if I was told before the closing date that they were issues in the first place. It's not hard to pick up the phone or send a text or email with just an update on where the process is it doesn't take a lot of effort but it was never done.

My loan experience with this company was horrible. The loan officer Matt was never available, he only communicated information when I insisted on getting answers after several ignored requests and refused to honor my request about reducing my interest rate only to give me a lame explanation at the last minute when we were at the closing as to the reason he felt I would probably not want to buy down points. He was very unprofessional and if I was not as far along into the contract I would have fired him and went with someone else. Do not use this company, and if you do make sure they keep you informed about every aspect of your loan process and that they respond promptly otherwise go somewhere else. I was treated as if they were doing me a favor and not that I was their client. With a credit score of 800 and 20 % down payment I felt I should have gotten better rates as well. I was truly disappointed..

She is an absolute angel and I feel very blessed to have gotten to work with her. The help she provided during my home buying process was amazing, even answering questions in the evenings and on weekends.

The entire process from start to finish was poor and exhausting. If I had the opportunity to transfer lenders I would have. A few descriptions of my experience include, false and withholding crucial information, very Unprofessional, lack of communication, lack of knowledge and experience. As you can imagine the opposite experience and interactions would have been preferred. I would never do business with Lenders United/American Financial Network or its affiliates. I will never recommend this lender/company to anyone! No homebuyer should ever have to experience what I went through.

This was an unorganized draining process !!! I had a close date that was moved due to an over site of state law ! This caused me to pay late payments on my current mortgage! Further more the daily new form and paperwork to file request from a very rude pushy loan officer! I came very close to moving lenders!
