I have been struggling for years trying to pay off my credit debt and improve my credit score. My low credit score has prevented me from purchasing a vehicle, my own home, and credit cards. I was feeling hopeless and so down until a good friend of mine highly recommended American Consumer Credit Counseling. They took the time over the phone to go over all of my monthly expenses and my income and came up with an extremely affordable monthly payment to pay off all of my credit debt! They were very helpful, informative, and extremely patient. I recently spoke with Jojo and he was so friendly, helpful, informative, optimistic, and so upbeat. He was a pleasure to talk to and made me feel so wonderful that I made this decision to improve my credit and have a better life being able to purchase a home and vehicle in the near future! It's so exciting! This has been the best decision I've ever made!

Melissa is a great credit counselor! She was very thorough in explaining the credit debit management process, and other debt solutions to me. She was patient and answered any questions I had. She made me feel comfortable to work with her as we went over my budget and expenses. I'm very grateful I was able to get Melissa as my counselor. I'm hoping to stick with this program and get out of debit.

I worked with Ryan, who was very understanding, knowledgeable and compassionate. She reviewed all of my options in an easy to understand format. The conversation ended on a positive note and I felt like a huge burden was lifted. Thanks so much Ryan!

I’ve spoken to Melissa a few days ago. I can write a honest review; let me start by saying her advice was phenomenal. I actively listened to her advice about credit score improvement and the steps to put a plan in motion. This is a non profit organization that genuinely cares about helping people get to the next level in their life.

This review is for Tom. I called ACCC to get information about how to be in a better financial situation and Tom spoke with me at length for about 3 hours. We went into a deep dive of my finances, he gave me amazing recommendations and referrals and even advised me on the methods I shouldn’t consider that could hurt my credit even further. Tom was very patient with me and took the time to explain the program step by step and answered every question I had. Not once did I feel judged or embarrassed. I felt at ease after our call and do plan to use ACCC in the future. If anyone is thinking about joining the program but have questions just call. If all reps are anything like Tom then I promise it’ll be a pleasant experience.

I have been a customer for almost 2 years. I had the best customer service call with Jojo. He went above and beyond to assist me with my request. He offered additional scenarios that I hadn’t know were available. Great company! Awesome Customer Service!

ACCC has been so great. Having 2 credit cards and only able to pay the minimum payment wasn't getting us anywhere. The only logical thing to do was to call ACCC. They helped us so much and doing the worksheets they require and after a letter is sent to the credit bureaus. Our credit score went up because we were working with ACCC. The employees are so nice and very helpful. I recommend them to anybody that is struggling with bills. Thank you again for helping us.

Really easy to work with, they are also lienent when it comes to scheduling payments. The first person called them the women I talked it felt like they were going very strict like she aggressive. However after everything they were very kind. I could give them 4 stars for the first person I spoke. She was very strict and felt like she was shaming me but perhaps that was my head space. I was embarrassed the first time I called, in fact I cried. However there is no shame in these situations and they were very helpful all the way the way through the process.

Keva was very helpful. She listened and was very patient with me. I belive she is guiding me in the right direction and after our initial call, I hung up feeling relieved that I finally found a way to help fix my debt problem without having to take out a loan or try debt settlement.

Star was Fantastic!!! She was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, patient and helpful! She was able to explain everything clearly so I could easily understand their program. With the plan Star came up with I felt immediate relief of the pressure of trying to figure out how I was going to pay all my bills each month. I would highly recommend working with Star at ACCC.

Michelle Rufkin was very professional, very on point with explaining each part of the debt consolidation program in detail and perfectly. I have been with ACCC FOR 3 years and it really has helped me get my debt down to nothing and learn to control my spending . They work with you and the lenders to help you. Ill be finished in Jan 2023 and have paid off 19000 dollars !!

My representative Kyle was amazing! He helped me create a budget plan that I feel confident about sticking to. He took his time and walked me through everything in detail. I feel like you really have to have patience for this job and Kyle definitely did! He introduced several offers to me and didn’t pressure me into what he thought I should do. What a great conversation! After filling out the form online, I spoke to Tom who, with impressive patience and a very cordial demeanor, talked me through my whole budget and expenses. I didn't feel like anything was being sold to me, just that he was a friend trying to help me to think about my finances in the right way. I'm not in terrible financial shape, but wanted to talk about some solutions related to debt consolidation, FICO score management and home equity. He educated me on all of these items and more. Talking to Gabriel was a cakewalk. I mean, am kicking myself for not starting this sooner. Debt is seriously a huge problem, not to mention so many sharks out there with no heart. I found info about ACCC through a federal site and being a not for profit gives it a bit of credibility. Gabriel walked patiently with me over the entire process, pausing for any questions, answering or clarifying as needed. I would highly recommend this if your debt is giving you sleepless nights, panic days and relationship strain.

The counselor Cuddy was exceptionally knowledgeable and understanding when it came to my debt issues and the course of action needed to undo the damage. I appreciated the time he took to explain the program and options tailored to my specific situation.

ACCC is the best place for anyone who needs help with getting their debt under control and paid off, the process is simple and straightforward. The financial education tools they provide are excellent. Working with ACCC is the best decision you can make!

An excellent service provided by ACCC. They contacted all my creditors, reduced interest and my monthly payments to a manageable amount, and set me up for a monthly auto-pay that they then disbursed to each creditor. After a few years in the program (started with over $100k in debt, paying $1743 mo) I was lucky enough to come into some money to pay off the remaining balances in full. However, I was only ~12 months away from completing the program anyways. Only negative is that some creditors didn’t accept electronic payments from ACCC, so they mailed paper checks. A couple times the checks never arrived and ACCC had to re-issue them. This caused the creditors to mark late payments, which hit my credit score hard. If you’re drowning in debt and struggling to keep up, I’d recommend speaking to ACCC to understand your options.

I was really nervous about calling . But very glad I did. SAMATHA..made talking about my finances very easy and was very personable. Even hearing the "bad" wasn't so bad. I probably was on the phone with her longer that usual lol..she made talking about bad choices and habits easy .it was like talking to a good friend. Spoke with Jojo regarding my debt management program issue and he was able to provide good service and all the information I need. Very thoughtful and professional in terms of customer service. However I wish ACCC could have told me some of the creditors require live check as monthly payment in advance so I could prepare this better. Overall I’m satisfied with this debt management program.
