We love America’s First Federal Credit Union. People are so helpful and friendly, including the security guards. Every time, they got our needs resolved right there and then. The best experience! The 3 offices we went - Leeds, Vestavia and Hoover all are exceptional!

Over the years I only entered 3 times for in-person service and every time the service was friendly, professional, helpful and came with a very short wait. I am not dealing with banks(credit unions) enough to know what a 5 would look like, or a 3 ..

Always rude!! This used to be a great Credit Union to be apart of. I've been a member for going on twenty years now and it's time to find a new credit union.. Ive put it off long enough. The biggest complaint would be the rude people. They act like you're bothering them and as a customer service manager it's appalling. The Hoover Branch is the worst.

Can not stand their new drive thru system. It’s no faster than the old one and I think often times is slower. Is very impersonal and just not enjoyable to use. It’s also annoying to have to type your Social Security number or banking account number on a big number button screen that anybody can see by looking over their shoulder. They did a big beautiful remodel and killed it but totally missed the target on their new drive thru system. Just one guys opinion.

Michelle Kinard is a gem. She helped from the online process to the branch finishing and she was not only extremely helpful but very warm and kind. I would definitely recommend this branch and her services. Thank you Michelle

I have had nothing but issues from the day I opened an account with this credit union. Today I went into the branch because nobody is answering the phones to see about depositing a check from a well respected investment firm. I informed the person I needed access to the money right away and asked if there is a hold. She was unable to answer basic questions and her manager wasn’t available. Long story short she deposited the check so the computer would tell here how long the hold would be. I’m livid. My husband and I have a 7 year refi with this place and our credit scores are over 800. I’m taking my money and I’m leaving this credit union. ...well after five business days which by the way today doesn’t count. Did I say I was livid?

I’m a huge fan of giving kudos and props to great customer service. That being said, Amy Welch is incredible at her job! I recently switched my business banking to AmFirst and quickly realized she’s a “get stuff done” kind of person. There were several times that I reached out and she resolved minor transitional issues within a very quick timeframe. I enjoyed my experience with AmFirst and Amy so much that I moved over my personal banking too...I’ve also referred a few friends their way and they’ve all had great experiences. I couldn’t recommend AmFirst or Amy more!

They never answer the phone i have been calling all morning!!!
