America First Credit Union (inside Harmons) E 800 N, Orem

Do not use america first Credit Union for business account. Apparently regular accounts have more options than Business account. For example Business accounts can't use zelle or do external transfers. Is crazy how limited their business accounts are. Was my bad for not doing the research. Hope this helps someone save time when looking for a bank for their business.

I tried to do a loan with them. They’re “lending specialist” gave me incorrect guidance when submitting my loan and they wouldn’t ever adjust the incorrect info and just denied the loan entirely. They have incompetent and poorly trained staff and their underwriting process has tons of holes in it. I would try any other credit union before trusting America First’s staff to process your requests or handle your funds.

If you don't bank with them already avoid getting a loan from them. Bought a car from Mazda and now have to deal with their system. If I want to pay my bill online they charge a 3% convenience fee. Dangit should have gotten the loan from somewhere else. Guess I'm stuck coming into a branch for the next 5 years. So avoid auto loans from them if you don't have them as your main bank.

The credit union as a whole deserves a 5 star rating, but this location in my opinion isn't as friendly as some of the other branches I've been to, but still a great place to bank

I love their hours, and the tellers do a good job. The loan officer Lady, gets busy and does not always follow through with what she said she would do. I had to remind her several times. :( BTW made a house payment at the end of the month, which was 0.74, as in less than one dollar, and they changed a $25.00 overdraft fee. A deposit hit the bank the next day. What would the interest rate be to receive $25 dollars for loaning .74 cents for one day? The fee was 33 times the amount they loaned me for one day. Their computers system was smart enough to calculate that my bank account was short 0.74 cents, would a human make that same decision? A company Programmer did, and someone with in management approved the policy to change a $25 fee for ANY amount short, in your checking account. Perry

Love this location. Can do credit union business and grocery shop in one stop. Employees are always friendly and willing to help. My credit score increased to over 800 and AFCU was willing to drop the interest on an already low interest outstanding loan by another .25% with little fanfare or paperwork. They are the so easy to work with!

Karen, the lead teller, helped us out tremendously. She was so patient and did not seem put out at all, even though it took two hours to complete our visit. After a hard day of test driving cars, her pleasant attitude was a Godsend.

America First Credit Union is In MY OPINION the best CREDIT UNION out here. I just have to laugh when just because someone has a rude encounter they "wouldnt recommend this CREDIT UNION to anyone" BAHAHAHAHA! Best CREDIT UNION OUT THERE!

This is the branch I use every time and I have never had a bad experience. They are always very polite and very friendly. I also love the hours they are open.
