Altabank - Highland W 11000 N, Highland

This bank was recently purchased by Glacier Bank and my experience since that time has been a real turn for the worse. I send an international wire once a month for business, it used to be I could come in and give the amount and they would duplicate the documentation and send the wire for $35 within. I don't know why this isn't possible online with them but it never has been. Since the change to Glacier Bank they must retype the form each time and each wire costs $75. The retyping takes 10-20 minutes extra each time and adds risk of typos to each transaction. There have been mistakes made twice on these so far. Twice the cost for half the service is the wrong direction. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

We got a construction loan to builder our house last year. The bank was very easy to work with and they were very informative. The process of getting money to cover construction cost was easy so much so that we got my brother to use them. They also had a good experience.

Been with the bank as I've moved around for 20 years. Highland branch has helped me with what I need and nice people. I do need to go to the AF branch to get the $2 bills in large quantities.

Drive-thru only open on Saturdays.. will not cash checks for non-customers... never had this issue with any other bank.. smh

Good hometown service low fees like credit union

Been with BaF / Altabank for years. Years. A few years back we spaced paying on a $300 credit card balance. Completely covered it and paid it off in the weeks thereafter. Totally miscommunication between me and my wife. Totally on us that we missed the payment. Of course they immediately reported it and it’s been a credit score ding for years. Trying to refinance our home, we asked them this week for a goodwill reconsideration of their reporting of that one missed payment. It makes a significant difference on the interest rate we are offered. They say no way - It is honest reporting on their end and they refuse to reconsider. Sad they feel that way about their clients. I will walk 1000 miles barefoot to make and keep a client happy. Altabank feels otherwise. I’m sure banks are banks, but met with another local bank and they feel more interested in their relationships.

Jason Robbins, my relationship banker, is great to work with. He’s professional and efficient in the use of my time and very helpful in keeping the financial cigs of my businesses running smoothly. I highly recommend this branch and Jason too.

This is a great location and great staff, but my only down fall to this branch is why won’t you guys let me cash a check with out an account on a Saturday when I can just goto the Lehi branch and cash it there???

Just so you know they won’t cash their checks through the drive through without a account and the lobby is closed on Saturdays.
