Can I go lower than 1 star? I went in with Power of Attorney to close an account for my 92 year old father. Joy acted like they didn’t even know what it was. They said they would call me back - they had to call someone for instructions on what to do. This still hasn’t been resolved. I visited four other banks to close accounts - none took more than 30 minutes. This is why credit unions are a better option - great customer service and people who know what they are doing. Don’t go to this branch.

Been with BaF / Altabank for years. Years. A few years back we spaced paying on a $300 credit card balance. Completely covered it and paid it off in the weeks thereafter. Totally miscommunication between me and my wife. Totally on us that we missed the payment. Of course they immediately reported it and it’s been a credit score ding for years. Trying to refinance our home, we asked them this week for a goodwill reconsideration of their reporting of that one missed payment. It makes a significant difference on the interest rate we are offered. They say no way - It is honest reporting on their end and they refuse to reconsider. Sad they feel that way about their clients. I will walk 1000 miles barefoot to make and keep a client happy. Altabank feels otherwise. I’m sure banks are banks, but met with another local bank and they feel more interested in their relationships.

Not happy at all with this branch. I drove up to the drive up with a $20 bill to exchange for 20 $1. She said of course. Then a few moments later she came back and said do you have an account. I said no. So she said I can't help you. Are you kidding me!!! I said. Your a bank and you will not exchange $20 for 20 $1. That is a joke. I said I will never have an account there ever and I will tell all my friends the story and tell them not to bank at Altabank.

I cannot say enough good things about Bank of American Fork especially this branch due to Kelly Palmer and Karlee Green who work out of this office. I have been a banking customer for 3 years now, and I've also done three loan transactions with them to include a land purchase, a construction loan, and a mortgage. Two of those three transactions were done with Kelly and Karlee, and spanned a period of 2 years (held the land for a year and then built on it for another 9 months). In that time I've spoken to Kelly and Karlee at least 20 times. Both have been extremely helpful and meticulous. I consider them trusted advisors in helping to make sure my paperwork, loan draws, and timelines were met. I wish I could give you the full story on why I trust them, but there's a limit to this comment box. Suffice to say I've had good times and bad times, and they've helped me through it. You know you have a good strong relationship with someone when you can weather storms and sunny days and still come out with respect and good feelings. If I ever plan on taking a journey like the one I just completed again, you can be sure that I'd do it with these two as my banking advisors.

Very disappointed in my customer handing experience. Will go out of my way to steer people away from this bank. Underhanded and dirty practices.

I have lived in Alpine since 1987. Banked at First Security then Wells Fargo bought it. I have had one frustrating experience after another At Wells for years. Alta wins the customer respect prize. Today as a large depositor and 33 year customer Wells was not only disrespectful but would not help unless I got online and set appointment. I Jumped through numerous online hoops only to find out I could not make an appointment today but tomorrow. Why did he not tell me that?. I obviously wanted help today. On way home I stopped at Alta and told them I was not a customer and needed notary. They immediately served me at no charge. The irony the form I needed notarized was a Wells Fargo document! I will use my appointment at Wells tomorrow to cancel my accounts and move to Alta bank.

I called in to verify funds on a check, and I ended up speaking with Joy. She was needlessly rude to me and outright refused to assist me. I was in total disbelief at how poorly she conducted herself.

Kelly Palmer is the BEST!!! I called her up on a Sunday afternoon (because I knew she would answer...she always answers) because I had a friend that needed something notarized that day. She met us at the Branch 30 minutes later to help us. Try getting that from Wells Fargo. I have banked with Kelly and the Alpine Branch for over 18 years.

The staff at this location is so kind and helpful. The personal touch is something that is often overlooked these days, but not here. Thank you.

Wonderful staff. I don't even live in Alpine but I only like going to the Alpine Branch because of how I am treated. They go out of their way to help you there.
