Alliance Credit Union E University Ave, Gainesville

This credit union is the worse EVER. I currently bank with them in which I am closing out my account Monday and going to a different credit union. I would not recommend anyone to this bank. Please do not waste your time. They are unprofessional, the staff know nothing about their own system, the system is old as hell and always have issues, you can barely get in contact with staff, they are always closed for no reason and now closed on weekends which is a big inconvenience for people, you barely can get access to your funds, they give you the run around if you have an issue, and they are not friendly at all. Please take this as a sign to not open an account at this credit union go to another.

This bank has been an inconvenience from the start, for it to be the 21st century you'd think they'd be a little more high-tech. I opened the account because they financed a car of mine to make payments easier but banking is just not fun. The mobile app is dated, it doesn't allow you to do anything you need to do. lost a card and trying to do anything after hours is a total waste including managing my credit card. The only thing I've found to be good about them are the shared branch locations since I do not reside in Gainesville. But if you are looking for a bank that offers up to date convenience this is not the one!!!

I have worked closely with Alliance Credit Union for many years. They work closely with me/my personal needs to make sure I am set up for success when it comes to personal loans, credit cards, or vehicle purchases. Dealing with a credit union (nonprofit) gave me the peace of mind that I was getting the best rates available, and more importantly, dealing with a local branch that made local decisions, specific to my needs/qualifications. Mark Goess, was the best to work with. He gave my account personal attention, was very responsive to my questions, and educated me to what is always the most sound financial decisions. Recently, I was even able to purchase a vehicle at 2.49%, and he allowed me to roll into the new car loan high interest credit cards (as high as 18.99%) so that I not only paid off the credit cards much faster than otherwise by making separate payments, but also did so at a crazy interest rate. This saved me thousands with just a few signatures. This consultative approach and local decision making made it a no brainer for me, and I will continue to trust Alliance/Mark with all my future financing needs!

Really disappointed to see the loan officers and managers waltzing around inside with no masks while the kind ladies behind the counter helping people were wearing them. According to your website, it's policy to wear masks. It looks like some of the people who work here think it doesn't apply to them. Get your act together.

This company sells your information and will not return voicemails or calls. Good luck trying to get in touch with them when you have an issue.

You might get a low rate on your auto loan but you'll have to pay additional fees to pay your bill online and you will have to deal with their extremely dated and poorly designed website. I would gladly pay a higher interest rate to not have to deal with their website and be able to automate payments from an outside account. I could get around paying fees if I opened a checking account with them, but that's not going to happen because their site is garbage.

This is the best bank I've ever had an account with! My accounts are easy to see online, and Tim and Dave went out of their way to help me finance the exact vehicle I wanted and made sure I was paying a lower interest rate than the dealership offered. Alliance has my business for life!

This credit union will sell all your information to scam companies, so you will receive scam mail for years after you close your account with them. The mail usually consists of a document with all of your information, where all you have to do is sign and send it back, and they sign you up for whatever insurance (or whatever the scam is). When you contact the scam companies, you'll be told that there is no way to stop the scam mail. When you contact Alliance, they'll be useless. Don't give them your information.

Don’t waste your time . Find a better option. These people are smiling in face but doing nothing helpful at all. Very disappointed.

Great bank. The office off 43rd is open later which is convient.
