    Use to be a great credit union. They lost a lot of great talent recently (possibly due to vaccination mandate) and since they lost so many great people their customer service has significantly gone down hill. I’ve completed their survey, gave feedback saying how poor their service has become, requested a manager to call and no matter what I do nobody seems to care so I figured I’d post my opinion for the public to see since my direct feedback is going unnoticed. There’s plenty of other great credit unions where you’ll be treated much better, don’t go to a bank, go to another credit union.

    The single most difficult credit union I have ever worked with. Impossible to set up an account, finally got all of the info I needed to set up a bank draft for my truck payment and I need a pin number I never knew I had and still don't. For Christ's sake make this easier to do or make it easier to contact you to FINALLY get all the info I need. WOW!!!!!11

    Worst customer service ever. Bought a car through a dealership and got stuck with them for the loan. Can’t get access to their online banking to make a payment on the loan and they won’t help us get access. But will gladly take my payment over the phone for a fee of $12.00. Not right.

    I went to the credit union in King to get 9000 dollars cash , I was told I could have 7500 , I have allot more money than that in my account , The manager finally said she would give me my money only one time , It is my money, I have withdrew allot more than that not long ago , I have been a member since 1975 , i have never had a problem before when i need cash what is going on ?00

    I've changed banks 3 times in the past 5 years, 2 businesses and personal. At Allegacy I finally found a bank that does not make banking difficult. Quite the opposite, every interaction is quick and I feel well served.

    Said it would be 10 min wait to get new card and been hete 30. Still waiting. Ill be closing my personal and business accounts with them soon

    Very disappointed. I intended to become a member of this credit union and to secure a car loan. I was very excited because I had heard good things from others about Allegacy. I arrived just before 4:30 which I know is late in the day, but my job doesn’t always allow me to be available during business hours. I passed the security officers and they asked me what I needed. I told them that I would like to become a member & possibly check out a car loan. They directed me to a teller. The teller took my name & purpose for my visit and told me where to sit & wait. Within a minute, a woman walked by the teller and loudly proclaimed “It’s too late in the day to do any of that!” I was hoping she wasn’t referring to me, but my intuition told me she was. I noticed another customer who had spoken to a teller just before I did, was taken into an office area and was being helped (not too late in the day for that customer). I was left sitting. The angry “too late in the day woman” was no where to be seen. I sat. I waited. 5 minutes. 10 minutes. 15 minutes. 20 minutes. Playing Candy Crush to pass the precious time that was not being used wisely. Finally, at 4:50, my name was called. I thought to myself, “Wow, “too late lady” really made sure that she would not be able to help me because now it’s almost 5 o’clock.” Sure enough, she explained that because it was now 4:50 it was too late because the underwriters go home at 5:00 and I could just do everything online any way. I almost said it, but my mom taught me to be polite. I almost said, “Well, you know, if you hadn’t wasted time having a tantrum on the work room floor and then left me sitting for 20 more minutes, there probably would have been enough time to at least make me a member.” But I shook my head and nodded and smiled as she made excuses. I took the business card she handed me. As I got up to leave, I wanted to throw her card in her waste basket so she could see, but again, Mom taught me manners. As I passed the security guards, they asked if I had accomplished what I wanted. I said “No, but I can take my business some where else.” Then, I threw “too late lady’s” card in the trash can by the door. Goodbye Allegacy. Thanks for nothing.

    This is the worst bank ever! I have been a member for a while and the service has never been great! Yesterday and today is the final straw! I tried to make a purchase yesterday bit I reached my daily limit and I couldn’t use my card anymore! I had a uhaul in my possession due to the size of the items I was buying! That uhaul was a complete waste of money because I couldn’t male a purchase. Since this was done Saturday afternoon there was NO ONE to contact to up my daily spending limit! So I planned on going back to finish making my purchase today since it’s another calendar day! I just received a call from allegacy fraud department! I spoke with the and verified the transactions. The lady informed me the block on my card will not be removed untill tomorrow and once again no one to speak to about it! This is ridiculous having this much headache and having to fight to use MY MONEY! Why isn’t there an option on online banking to up the spending limit? Why don’t you have people working 24/7 to increase limits so people like myself don’t waste an entire weekend that was requested off in order to dobthese transactions!

    I highly recommend this credit union. I was very pleased at how fast my loan was approved, how easy it was handled and how professional was the loan advisor. The rates are very low and my previous loan was paid off in less than 24 hours. I am waiting to refinance my son's car in a month or so with them as well.

    This is a really nice credit Union! I was treat really bad by another credit Union in Winston when I was in the hospital with Covid. I switched to this one after getting recommendations from friends. These folks could not have been nicer!! They couldn’t do everything for me right now but they were kind and helpful. Kindness goes a long way always but when you’ve been sick for months, it’s everything!! The phone system could use an upgrade and some of the call center customer service people are not great. However, the folks in the branches and in the loans, underwriting etc. are very kind and they really want to help you! It matters when people care about you and not just your account. If you are equally fed up with Truliant, go right around the corner to people who care!

    Other financial institutions wanted an extremely high interest rate on the loan we were trying to get. Our scores are high so there’s no reason why they would do a high rate. Allegacy gave us an extremely low interest rate and it was a quick and easy process. I definitely recommend them to anyone that’s looking for a loan. Thank you Connie Scoaf for all of your help.
