Awesome customer service the guys were super friendly and nice and helpful with any questions also Fair on the price of stuff even fair enough to explain the pricing of the items whether you are selling or buying ...definitely the best pawn shop in town

I recently took my wife's wedding ring in for serious repairs for our 21st anniversary and as always I was very happy. Jerry and the guys took good care of me. I've been doing business with Allan's since 1979 and they have always done me right. Don't pay too much check out Allan's first. Love you guys. You're the best!

Eight years ago almost nine i had bought my wedding band from here and enjoyed the service. Up front very helpful. But tryen to find time to get back to look at there coins :)

I can’t rate Alan’s jewelry and loan highly enough. They are my preferred gun dealer in Indiana. I have never had a bad experience there. The staff is super friendly. They have the best local gun prices locally. It’s rare I can even find a better price online. They have a great selection on guns, tools and musical instruments. It is truly one of the best businesses in Anderson.

My favorite pawn shop in the area! Best staff around and also the best deals. I come here often and I never leave empty handed. Stop in and I bet you won’t be disappointed. They have a better gun selection that half the gun stores around her!

I had a great experience there! I used the layaway program and there was no fee for the service! I bought a lot of guitar accessories (strings, pics, etc.) and they were all great. They even worked with me on an item that was already on sale and really got me a great deal. The staff really treated me like a human being and went above and beyond to make sure I left the store happy.

Sold a few things here, havent bought anything yet. One item I got a fair deal on I was satisfied enough another item I feel they slightly underpaid me for but not by much I asked 100 I got 75. Another item they wouldn't make an offer which is ok I understand and one guys did actually educate me some on that item. My few experiences the staff is friendly and professional. I won't give u bad rating cuz I haven't had a bad experience but I can never give a 5 star to a pawn shop. I apologize it's just the type of business you run nothing personal.

I'm writing this review in rebuttal to the 2 star review that was just left by Mark Maudlon below. The gentleman that left the review was already having a bad day so I very much understand his feelings. I'm bummed because he knows myself and my brother real well who are both owners of the business (since our father, who was the owner just recently passed away). What troubles me and my brother is he was being waited on by our fairly new employee and he didn't give either one of us a chance to see if we could do better for him. Employees are only allowed to do so much. If the customer is asking for more, usually one of the owners would be asked but this wasn't the case. Rest assured this is not the way we normally treat our customers. I do understand that people may have a certain dollar number that they want and not all shops give the same amounts. What if someone wants way more than something is worth should the pawnbroker get a bad review because he didn't get the amount he wanted? There will always be differences. I'm sincerely sorry he felt bad! This gentleman had been with us for 7 years so I guess we couldn't have been too bad. Owners & Operators Steve & Jerry

Don't waste your time going to this place specially if you buying a firearm

I have done business with Allan's for about 20 yrs. Sometime getting a loan which Steve and Jerry were always very generous to me. I also bought many items from their top notch store. I would highly recommend them to any friend or any person I had just met. They are very professional and they have always treated me with the utmost respect and were always more than willing to help me out when I found myself in a pinch and needed to come up with some fast cash. I would never think of doing business with anyone but Jerry and Steve at Allan's Jewelry & Loan Inc. when I needed a small loan or if I was looking for a great deal on some jewelry, power tools, golf clubs, video games, stereos(guitars), or firearms, ect. Allan's is and always will be 5 Stars in my book!

I love Allan’s! I have great service from everyone here when I come in! They clean your jewelry for free if it’s bought from them and treat you with so much patience. Also, they have great reasonable prices and payment plans if you need some time to pay if a special piece! Highly recommend!

I found Allan's from one of their online store fronts. They had a good selection of products. When I contacted Jerry via email he quickly responded. When I called on the phone to place my order, I am out of state, both Jerry and his employees were friendly and knowledgeable. The item shipped the same day and I received it the next. It's condition on arrival was exactly what was advertised. Allan's gave excellent service.

Really good offer prices on silver. I was paid near spot price on a 10 ounce silver bar. I would highly recommend this business. The employees are very friendly & helpful as well.

I have dealt with them for years, they are nice affable people. I think I was soured when, I was in my teens and twenties, I would go in about once every couple of weeks and buy a coin. I would just buy a coin kind of like a savings. Well one year, we were really broke and I needed money for the gas bill. So I took all of those coins in and was ready to sell them back. Thinking I would get something out of my investment. The first thing out of their mouths were who put these bogus price tags on these. Like all sarcastic and stuff. When I told him he did, he got really gruff. Then he comes back and says I offered you more than I was originally going to. But you know we cant pay retail for these coins. Now mind you I never asked for retail, I fully expected him to give me less than what I paid, because well pawn shops are just really bad. But he offered me right about .40 cents on the dollar. Well that was around the year 2000, I have only been in there once since. I still collect coins, but do not expect them to have the best deals.

Allan's is the only pawn shop I ever use. They are respectful, knowledgeable, fair and always very honest and helpful. I can't stress enough to anyone looking for a range of items or in need of a loan, they are the best and you should check them out before going elsewhere.

I was born and raised in Anderson and seen Allen’s but had never gone in! When I was 18ish I came here for an emergency purchase of an AC Unit lol and got it for a good deal!!! Best of alll to this day it runs strong and is sitting in the garage! Not too long ago I came in just to look for a new gun purchase..... the staff here is very polite and had no problem answering any questions I had! What I loved is I seen a bad review on here for them because of politics and mask or some BS.... I will say these gentleman definitely are open with there political stance here however NOT ONCE DID THEY FORCE THEY'RE OPINION ON ME!!!!! Read it again..... I found it absolutely amazing to go into a place and have great conversation about whatever came up and no one got offended or forced me to change my mind! I am a 23yo with no political affiliation and simply believe in what’s right or wrong and even if my opinion was different👆🏼 And when it was they still helped me!!! I’ll be giving them as much business as I can from this point on! To conclude my interaction I got the perfect home defense for my gf at home.... Thanks Guys!

Visited for the first time yesterday. I'm always a little leery when selling something of value. After talking with Jerry for 5 minutes, I knew he was trustworthy and honorable. It was a smooth transaction and they explained every step of the process to me. This is definitely my new go to shop for anything along these lines. They aren't just a pawn shop, they are a family run business who care about their customers. I highly recommend.

I moved back to Anderson after over 30 years to retire and I came into Allan's looking for a guitar to while away my retirement. I walked into the store and was greeted by Steve, co owner of Allan's. He recognized me after all these years. That's the kind of men that owe this establishment. They really care about people. Anyway, He showed me a guitar that I fell in love with. While we were reminiscing, he proceeded to polish, change a broken string, and adjusted the neck. You don't get this kind of service at the typical pawn shop. I recommend these gentlemen to everyone. Thank you Steve. It's great to be back home. BTW, before you ask, I got a great deal for the guitar.

The gentleman that helped me is very knowledgeable forthright and courteous. I enjoy very much their excellent and fine establishment. A favorite place to go and say hi and to see what is new. All the staff are straight up!!!

Beautiful jewelry and exceptional service. I dont have to go to a "jewelry store" and pay 4 times more for markup and i still get gorgeous jewelry. Anytime i need my rings cleaned or sized i can get in and out in under 15 min. Thoroughly happy and pleased with this store!
