TREMENDOUS! In May of 2020, in the heat of the Wuhan pandemic, I got a $120K refi at 3% in TWO WEEKS! They even waived the appraisal (on a $300K home) and saved me $550 and two weeks delay. Brenda Moore was both pleasant and helpful. She was especially concerned for me when underwriting added some last minute requirements due to my self-employed status, but worked me through with a little creative documentation. :) Note: LFCU had rejected my application twice, one year apart, for two "issues", but Alcova got-er-done. The office was even a fun experience in one of the converted homes right in the Gloucester historic circle. I checked their loan fees with several others and they were all about the same (except Quicken/Rocket was much higher!) They have Blue Heron Closing Service right in the same building. I also checked their fees and all were competitive, so it was particularly convenient to close right where I got the loan.

Steve was very professional the whole process. He had answers for questions we asked and he was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He stayed in touch and kept us informed every step of the way. He took out the time to listen to our concerns and needs and was able to make the process as painless and comfortable as possible. He was very knowledgeable of the process and explained it very well. If I could give 1000 stars I would. Anybody looking to buy a house sell refinance Steve is the man with the plan!
