This is hands down one of the best pawn shops in San Antonio. I used to try Cash Plus America and they weren't very understanding and not very fair about pricing but at this point the whole team seems honest. I pawn all of my stuff here and I would recommend this shop to anyone. Thank you to the Alamo Pawn team for always being so great 👍

I normally don't do pawn shops, because I'm not a big fan of used items. My son mentioned wanting a certain item the was kind of pricey, so he told me to check pawn shops and so I did. I immediately was greeted by a young lady I believe her name was Farrah who was so sweet and was very helpful in all kinds of ways. Not to mention that I normally don't do reviews, however with great customer service like that you can't help, but let her company know what a great job she is doing. She has totally changed my mind about Pawn Shops. Thank you and great job!

I normally don’t go to pawn shops because I use t think everything was stolen and people who worked there was there to hustle you! This place is sooo different! I went in and immediately a girl named Farrah greeted me with so much kindness I was overwhelmed! I needed a pc and wasn’t familiar she explained everything about it and made sure I was comfortable with my purchase! She also said if I needed help setting it up when I got home just call the store and she would walk me through it! It’s crazy that someone could be so kind! I will always be grateful that my first experience was amazing

It was my first time shopping at this store and I had Farrah help me. She made sure I was happy with my purchase. She did great. I’ll definitely be going back just because of her.

Was looking for a circular saw, went to all the nearest pawnshops. Alamo was by far the best, they have great items that are in terrific condition and the customer service was even better. I was approached by an employee his name was Adrian, he helped me find what I was looking for and at a great price!

I went to Alamo Pawn because I was in search of the perfect Christmas gift for my best friend and not only did I find it but I found a few other things that are going to make the holidays great for my family! Farrah was amazing and such a sweetheart, I’m so glad I stopped here first!

This might be the best pawn shop I've been to. Not only did I get a great price (in my opinion) for my clarinet, the management was impeccable to work with. Very patient considering I'm not used to the pawn shop process! I would highly recommend Alamo Pawn and Jewelry.

I stopped by this wonderful establishment earlier today and was greeted by two friendly staff members. They were knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The shop has a great variety of different items and looks great! The store is updated and revamped with new management. Thank you Alamo Pawn. Will definitely come back!

My very first experience at this shop wasn't pleasant, but I decided to go in one more time. That was a mistake. I walked in and up to the counter. There were 3 employees there, and not a single one even acknowledged my presence. And it wasn't as if they were hard at work. One was in their phone, one was pretending to clean some sort of electrical device, and the other was aimlessly wondering the store. I had plenty of gold to pawn, but after 15 mins of not even having my presence acknowledged, I took off and went to a different place. A place where, what do you know! I was welcomed by 3 employees at once, and asked how they could help me. Alamo Pawn really needs a lesson in customer service, and after reading through these other comments, I'm definitely not the only one who feels that way. Terrible, go somewhere else. There's FAR too many pawn shops in this city to settle for THIS level of customer service.

Had such a great experience here! I went in looking for Christmas gifts and was a little overwhelmed with all the options available. Luckily, Lucas was there to help me find the right gift for my siblings and within my budget! Will definitely visit again

Went into the store looking around and this lady greeted me with a smile, her name is Farrah. She made me feel comfortable and made sure that I knew she was there for my assistance if needed. I rarely go to pawn shops. terrible experiences before. I was looking for some James Avery jewelry, and this place was great. I felt comfortable browsing everything. Farrah was amazing and super patient with me. I highly recommend going to see her. I will absolutely be back

I come in just to browse and Farrah help me with all my questions and showed me around.. I didn’t buy anything that day. But I will sure be back because of her. She was wonderful and made my experience very positive. If I recommend anyone to go there I will tell them to ask for Farrah!

One of the best pawn stores in San Antonio. Farrah was great and patient in helping me and guiding me to find everything I was looking for without being pushy. Prices and great also. Will definitely be going back.

This might be the only pawnshop in SA that is friendly, has great deals, and practices safety during these rona times. Everyone was very mindful of proximity and friendly, but my girl Kassi really went above and beyond! Excellent customer service and even knowledgeable about what she was selling. Got an awesome camera and some vintage video games from here! The prices were great, and I haven't had any problems! The girl with long brown hair was super patient with helping me go through everything!
