I've had an account with AgFed for 5 years now and I went to apply for a mortgage. The process was great and the online application recommended a 15/15, until the lender backtracked and stated that I did not match the down payment criteria. The criteria is not listed online, given over the phone, or during the online application process. I even called the bank to see if there was a down payment minimum, which I was told there wasn't, until after I applied. Overall, the mortgage application is very misleading.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I have experienced with AgFed Credit Union. I have been trying to resolve a closed account issue for over a year now. I’ve called the manager responsible for managing the charged off account several times and left serval messages and have not received one phone call back. The issue has now resulted adverse information on my credit report. This is completely unacceptable. I’ve disputed the issue serval times with the bureaus but it gets referred back to the credit Union to get resolved.I Do not recommend anyone open an account with this credit union. The customer service is lacking and unresponsive to customer’s needs.

I would not recommend this credit Union. I applied for a loan never have I heard of a representative calling me vs the loan processor. The information I was being asked to provide was intrusive. No emails but phone calls. I was asked to provide all of my cc statements to see how much is owed and they would send to the the checks to the creditors? Thanks but no thanks.

they allowed someone to open an account in my name with my address, etc... no idea why someone would want to do that, but very annoying that the bank has no security to prevent this type of fraud/identity theft

My experience has been great with AgFed. I've been with them about 8 months and had excellent service from Mr. Jones every time I've called. Seriously above and beyond. He's really the reason for my 5 star rating. Maybe their website isn't quite as modern as others, but my experience at least is that customer service is top notch.

I recently transferred my auto loan from agfed to a new lender. The new lender worked with agfed to close the auto loan based on the payoff amount generated by agfed. After few months I see a missed payment on my credit report against agfed. When I checked my old agfed account, there was a $30 showing up as pending payment. My new lender then again worked with agfed and concluded it was an error on agfed side and that the loan was already payed off as per the initial payoff letter. Since then the pending amount was deleted off the agfed account but my credit score took a hit due to this clerical error. Such a pain now to get it fixed. Also it was very difficult to get these folks on a call.I would avoid them at any cost

The absolute worst credit union. Never have I experienced such disrespect. They also don’t want to give you your money. They ignore calls and don’t answer the phone closing 3 hours before said time and a teller counted my money incorrectly in front of me and then said I was wrong while I had the receipt IN MY HANDS for 75 dollars… don’t ever do business with this credit union

I have been a member of AgFed for 30 years or more. My family also are members. In the years past many employees at AgFed became friends due to the many interactions and great service they provided. The service we received when stationed offshore and at home was excellent. As of late the service and professionalism has become nonexistent. I cannot say it is due to a loss of agency integrity or changing management but the attention to customer service seems to have been lost. To all those employees who are still struggling to serve the credit union members I salute you. To those employees who have no interest in meeting members needs I suggest finding other employment.

Run far away. AgFCU is the worst credit union in my opinion. Customer service is non-existence and they take money out your account without permission. I used funds from a loan that I had 30 days to repay. After 10 days, they went into my account without my permission and took the entire amount of the loan without calling, texting, or emailing me. Now, I have no groceries or gas and my bill payments occurring will bounce and leave me with insufficient check fees. No one called for an apology or attempted to resolve the matter. I am now finalizing plans to switch to a different credit as soon as possible. Again run fast.

I was in the process of refinancing my loan with rate genius 6.75% was agricultures offer so I accepted because my current loan was 19% they made me submit my documents 5 different times through mail and website portal then always said they didn't receive it then -ran my credit multiple times (680)during the process even made me send them a $25 money order as a credit union fee then said my credit was not worthy because them and multiple of there partner lenders ran my credit downing my score substantially!! (550) buyer beware this company is a joke and will ruin your credit waste your time and maybe deny your loan altogether before it's finalized leaving you with no options left!!! If I could give them a negative 5 star rating I would never have I had such a bad customer service experience in my life!!!
