George was incredibly fast, friendly, and thorough. He made everything extremely user-friendly. I had an excellent experience.

To be honest, these guys aren't organized or communicative at all...and their customer service stinks! Overall I feel that the process has been rather slow and, the staff I have dealt with, not very proactive in dealing with me. This has resulted in me having to follow up numerous times in the past few weeks. I have dealt with Becky, Jose and Louis and have heard different stories from each about what actually needs to be done to complete this process. I was first under the impression that the whole thing could be done online and as such didn't bother to visit a branch when I was in LA recently in an attempt to save time. (In hindsight I definitely should have just gone in there to get it done.) On Nov 13th Becky told me that I would get emails sent to me which never happened (not sure if they were supposed to come automatically or from her personally but they didn't come through to my inbox or spam folder) I was then told by her that I would need to physically sign and post my forms in, not a simple process when I don't have a printer. On Monday Nov 20th, I was then told by Jose Monday Nov 20th that it COULD be done via email and that I just needed to sign the forms and return them via email. I spoke with Louis today who told me that I not only had to send them in physically but I also had extra documents to fill out and a check to create for the deposit. I also left communication requesting clarity on the process with Lorrena via email and also voice message and have heard nothing back. I have found this whole process rather stressful as I have had to change my financial plans many times this month based on the financial timeline of the funds from the loan coming through. To be honest, if it wasn't for the fact that I believe my credit has been pulled for the loan already I'd consider going elsewhere in search of a similar financial product and a better experience. Overall I've found the communication to be clunky and the whole process to be nothing short of stressful and time consuming.

Do not bank here! If you're an actor, don't be fooled by the name, because their affiliation with our union stops there.If you're an actor, whether you make money or not, you will not feel welcome here. If you call for customer service, you'll get rudeness and contempt, but very little service. They lack the technological conveniences that are now standard in their industry (smart phone apps, e-deposits) yet they still charge excessive fees. From what I read online, upper management is in bad need of an over-haul and employee dissatisfaction trickles down to customers. If you complain, they'll just make it worse for you. Check the internet for the bad reviews (not the fake ones); the level of customer dissatisfaction is pretty high. A good business will address publicized dissatisfaction, but not this place. They couldn't care less. Taking my money elsewhere was the best thing I ever did for my family. We are SO much happier with our new credit union - and we're saving money instead of losing it. We lost thousands by banking at Aftra-Sag. Don't do it - you'll be miserable.

This is most definitely NOT the aftra sag credit union from just a few years ago. Don't waste your time or money. There are other performer credit unions who will actually appreciate your business.

Y’all messed up my account and I got charged with trying to cash a fraudulent check !! Y’all are no good and somebody need to run me my money.

Lucy that works in the loan department was supposed to help me change my credit card to a loan when I got behind on credits after my wife became disabled and I lost my job. I have proof that I am reporting to the credit consumer affairs that I PAID ON TIME EVERY MONTH. She reported it late every single month and destroyed my credit. Bad bad business practices. RUN

I have been with them for 40 years. I find them a wonderful customer oriented financial institution. I have had automobile loans and a long term share savings account and have never once had a problem communicating or dealing with this company. I am happy to recommend them to anyone.

This CU is awful. The people who work here are smug and unhelpful. They make it painfully difficult to get even basic questions answered. You either have to go to the branch In person, or mail or fax (!) in your request. Who has a fax machine in 2020? GRRRRRRR

They are severely inept in their corporation banking and branch locations. Why they do not have mobile deposit for S corp accounts and branches out in Valencia and Thousand Oaks area is mindboggling. There are many industry folks that live in these areas. They also have stupid policies buying cars out of state thru their loan program. Get with the times people...
