My husband and I moved to the area because my daughter moved her with her new husband, and I wanted to live closer to my grandchildren. In looking for a Realtor I was wanting someone who was well versed in the laws in purchasing a home and land in Illinois. I wanted someone who was willing to answer questions and would help find the answers if they did not know regarding the property, services offered in the area, school information. I choose Devin Conway as a realtor because she works with a well-known real estate agency who has a great track record for selling and purchasing properties in the area. Devin specializes in helping the buyers purchase a home so that there is no conflict of interest with the sellers. Devin Conway assistance in the purchase of our new home was priceless. My husband was nervous with the large purchase and asked so many questions. Devin was very patient with him and found out what he wanted to know. Devin assisted us with helping us find the right lender for the home loan who had great financial advice. Devin knew the area and helped guide us through the whole process. Devin assisted us to negotiate a far price and home purchasing agreement. I highly recommend Devin Conway to be your Real Estate agent for when you are purchasing your new home or land.

I'm only giving 4 stars right now because we are still in the early stages of trying to find a new home, and the people at this agency are great so far! They're working their backsides off to help us find the perfect home. They have a great relationship with their Mortgage people (EZ-mortgage) and everything is going fantastic. They're very friendly and real, it doesn't feel forced or rehearsed when they ask what we're looking for. We don't feel like just another commission with this company. Highly recommend for ANYONE out there looking for their first or just next home.

This is the third time I have sold a house with Will Tomkins at Adam Merrick Realtors. My house went on the market with his advice on pricing and staging and had two offers within 24 hours of going on the market. Recommend him to anyone wanting to list their house!!!! We decided to buy because rental prices in Peoria and the surrounding area are insane. Adam Merrick was assigned to us by Zillow and we started with Matt (who was great but relocated out of state in the middle of our search.) Johnathan McCallen called and introduced himself. He had already consulted with Matt and had our preferences down. From that day on he was phenomenal. He called or texted regularly keeping on top of where we were in our search, he made himself available at random hours and days to fit our schedule. I really enjoyed working with AM Real Estate for the most part.My realtor Jonathan was awesome , patient and very helpful throughout this entire experience, especially when narrowing down my choices. The only downside I experienced on their end was working with the maintenance company that they contract out to-professionalism, work ethic and quality of work was not the best as I’m already working on new repairs. Other than that, my realtor Jonathan mcclallen was very helpful in explaining the home buying process from inspection to closing to move in. This was my first home and he was very patient and knowledgeable on what to look for in the house as far as repairs and such.

I needed to find a place more manageable for my Mom. Over the past year and a half I’d spoken to 3 realtors about my efforts to help my Mother. I decided one day to text Adam Merrick. That’s when things started HAPPENING!!! He called me right away, he took note of the specifics I wanted. He told me he’d have his eyes peeled for me. 1 week later he sent me a link of exactly what I had been looking for!! He arranged for a showing that day. Adam truly delivered exactly what I’d hoped for! When he says his eyes are peeled looking for you - he means business!!! My Mom is so excited! We close in a few weeks on the perfect place for her and I have Adam to thank for that! Working with his team has been wonderful. They’ve all been very friendly, professional and helpful!!

The process of buying a house with Adam Merrick’s realtors was pretty quick, which was nice. But the companies they work with are garbage, everything from the home inspector they recommended to the mortgage lender they recommended. The mortgage lender they tried to get me to lend through, wanted to give me an interest rate of 8.7% ( in June of 2020 with a 800+ credit score) which is TERRIBLE. The home inspector that they recommended, did probably the WORST home inspection I could imagine and have had nothing but problems with the house since being in it. So if you want to buy or sell a house quickly, then they’re probably mediocre, at best, to work with. If you decide to. Buy or sell through them then hire your own home inspector, and figure out your own finances NOT through them. Also, I never once heard from my agent after I bought the house, they did none of the stuff they said they would after closing, which I guess I cant be that made about not putting a ‘SOLD’ sign in my front yard, but still, a certain lack of connection is hard to look past. Overall, I would find somewhere else to buy/sell through.

Devin was absolutely fabulous and helped us find our dream home! She was always super attentive and worked with us to schedule showings around our busy schedule as we were coming in from out of state. We could not have navigated the homebuying process without her, and we are so glad we chose to work with her and Adam Merrick Real Estate!

I worked with Stephen Bogart and he was amazing. I had to move out of state in the middle of the process and he went above and beyond to help me get things accomplished from another area. He also made sure that I didn't get charged exorbitant fees. Things that should've never happened - happened in the process and he just went above and beyond. I would recommend him to anyone. I would give them seven stars out of five that's how awesome he was!

First time home buyer, and Jon R. from Adam Merrick was AMAZING. We started the search in May, and did not end up closing until November. Jon was extremely patient and honest. He knew what we wanted, and he did not stop until we found it. If you are looking for a new home, I suggest reaching out to the Adam Merrick Team. They will not stop til they find the right home for you.

We have been trying to sell our house for over a year. In today's market our house should never had stayed on the market as long as it had. However, we closed on the house today. Let me start off by saying DO NOT GO WITH ADAM MERRICKS TEAM! Here is why: we had to constantly contact the realtor to go by the house and pick up the yard sign, we were messaging him weekly to get updates or ask what else we can do to get the house sold quicker. No replies until several days later. We were constantly asking for feedback and told the right buyer would come. We ended up selling the house 12,000 under what our original price was and in this market that is uncalled for. Again I am thankful to finally have this closed. However, today at closing I was expected to drive up to Pekin from Texas to sign papers. The lender was there from Cefcu, Jim Maloofs realtor was there for the buyer, Bobbi Jo was there from the title company but did our realtor come and represent us, NO! We had to beg them to do an open house, we had to beg them to fix the listing, take better pictures, we stayed on top of it in order to get the house sold. We had the whole house repainted and put in appliances to sell the house all without the advice of this realtor. They couldn't get anything right! Yet we have to pay out 7% for their services which are still trying ro figure what those were exactly. Adam Merrick is a joke! I wish we would have known all of this before listing with them! We would have been better off listing it ourselves.

I’ve heard so much about Adam Merrick real estate since we came to the area back in 2014. We finally found a new house that we LOVE, and Dylan helped us get into the house...really worked FOR US. When we final had everything confirmed we wanted to use Adam Merrick to sell our current house. William with their selling team came out, gave us some pointers on what would help move the house. We knocked out those recommended updates, and put the house on the market. Their professional photographer was amazing, they really made the house look like a million bucks!! We put the house on a market, had 9 showings, and three offers by the end of the day! The final offer we received was above the asking price. We are so excited about getting into our new house. Contacted them about house they posted and they none stop been trying push house on me that I’m not even interested in and pushing loan companies on me when I already have my own banking and financial backing. Would never contact them nor suggest them. It felt as you were number with them, that gives them money. They don’t value you as individuals, just there commission!

They allow homes to sell with obvious property infringements going on, even after veing notified and the current owner knowing what they did is illegal. Trying to avoid the new owner to pay for the fixing of it.
