    I was here maybe 4 months ago. I had to cash a check and since covid rules were still in effect. This was an easier place to go to than drive 60 miles to my bank. When I cashed my check I was given a visa debit card, when I asked what it was for,all I was told is "this is to make it easier if you have to cash a check next time." I put that card away in my wallet and didn't think about it. Today I was looking thru my wallet since I got a new one and was about to throw this card out and decided to call the number on the back and see if anything was on it. To my surprise I had a negative $10 charge on it. The place must have opened an account with the info they asked me to cash my check. I never authorized or was asked if I wanted an account open. I was never mailed anything or told it was an active debit account that would be charged for not using it. I had to call customer service to cancel this account and make sure I had nothing sent to collections because it wasn't paid. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem.
