MS.STACY LOVELY! I'm SO Sorry she had to be out the Day/week that I came in to cash my check. I had the worse experience with Awanna Collins she's NOT customer service material at all. I don't know what impression she had whomever under during the interview but she is NOT fit for the Job. She is beyond RUDE! I've been working in customer service industry 10+ years. I'm not a REVIEW type of person but I never had a customer service experience this bad! She has a VERY BAD ATTITUDE ! I was scared to ask her a question. I was counting my money to verify it was the correct amount she had her hand on her hip rolling her eyes. While I was waiting for my check to be verify she waved her hand over basically telling me to move over . They had a guy that came behind me she was helping while I was in the middle of getting fanned out the way she started helping him the phone rung she asked him " Move out the way". I can go on and on , but all I'm going to say is she's not going to get fair in life with that attitude ! The Job is not that hard, and whatever she have going on if she does have something going on leave that at home before you cross the door seal of ACE CASH EXPRESS , because you Awanna is going to cause ACE CASH EXPRESS to lose customer at the 4639 Magazine Location . SHE NEED TO BE REPLACED ASAP!

I have been doing business with this location for ten years now, since the day in late August 2009 when my very first SSDI/disability check arrived in the mail...I had to cash the check IMMEDIATELY, with the lowest fees possible, so that I could put down the deposit money on a house being held for us in the very nice Uptown/Garden District neighborhood that we were moving into (out of a very dangerous house in an unsafe Central City location near the Superdome...we went in, the manager was EXTREMELY kind and helpful. After cashing the check, he told me that Ace's parent company, Metabank, was the bank that received disability disbursements directly from Social Security and that if I got direct deposit, I would get paid several days earlier than if I went to a commercial bank. He recommended this, telling me that New Orleans had a problem with disability checks being stolen from unsecured mailboxes. I signed up-and have been a happy customer for ten years. I DO get paid MUCH earlier, they protect my account against fraud, the fees are VERY low. The on-site staff is friendly and helpful. I will never bank anywhere else.
