I give one star only because zero is not an option. I'm currently attempting to purchase a house. I've done this twice before with no difficulty at all. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I've been asked to submit the same paperwork and information two and three times. I've been strung along with closing, having it rescheduled multiple times. Finally, closing was completed on April 5. Today, April 8, I received a message from my title company informing me the package sent to them, that I then signed, was somehow wrong. They expect me to go through closing again. Avoid Acceptance Mortgage if at all possible. I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience as a first time homebuyer. Chase was always available to answer any questions, explain all of my options, and was very patient with me! Highly recommend.

We had been working with a realtor who recommended Bill the owner of this company, in the beginning Bill went above and beyond to get us pre-approved upon realizing he couldn’t that day that we were trying to put an offer in on a home due to needing more information he told us we had options moving forward and he would continue to help us and gather the other info needed. After that call he wouldn’t respond to me anymore at all or even have a member of his team reach out to work with us! It also made us very uncomfortable that he could communicate things to our realtor which included private information but not us personally in a timely manner. It seems to me if you’re an easy case, have perfect credit and make loads of money this company can help you. If you’re a first time home buyer trying to navigate the process not knowing what you may qualify for there’s another company out there better suited to help you. This interaction has discouraged us, we’ve put buying a home on hold for now completely. Very disappointing!!

We were working with the owner Bill. He never would get back with us. He ended up telling the realtor our credit scores without even responding to us. Lenders should not give out viable information without permission!!!!!! We ended up talking with Scott from Oxford and he was able to guide us in the right direction and get us pre approved!

If you are a first time home buyer, please don’t use this company. We worked closely with the owner Bill . He is awful about returning calls, we jumped through tons of hoops for this man and he still denied our loan. He ran my credit 3 times and dropped my score. Buying your first home is supposed to be exciting and I am left traumatized. He told a lot of my personal information to my realtor and from what I have learned that’s extremely illegal. I would recommend you to never work with this company. He strung us along for two months. And no house to show for it. Very disappointing.

Bill saved me from a local credit union who did not have my best interest in mind. I was recommended to him by a friend after I had complained about the process with our credit union. Right off the bat he offered me an amazing rate. The credit union called it "fake and impossible." Then he explained to me how loans REALLY work. I went from having to put 20% down at 3.5% with the credit union to 5% down at 2.875%. He even structured the loan where I had no monthly mortgage insurance. In all Bill saved me over $42,000. Literally the best phone call I ever made!
