DO NOT BANK HERE! This “credit union” will do more to destroy your credit than to repair your credit. I banked here for 10 years, until the name change. This banking institution, which falsely claims to be a credit union will ruin your credit. I banked here for 10 years until Deborah, in “Business Resolutions” closed my account for a $2 overcharge to Doctors Without Borders, a charity helping keep people safe during Covid. US Bank is a much better choice. These criminals have no moral compass, and how dare they call themselves a Christian!? (See photo)

No username retrieval on the website. Zero way to get in touch with someone on the weekends. Sounds like my business is going elsewhere, as it should have YEARS AGO. Edit: and about your phone call, “customer service” three days later is not an effective solution. There is no legitimate reason why a modern bank shouldn’t have a username and password retrieval feature EXCEPT to keep your members from accessing their accounts without calling you first.

Used to love Fort Knox Federal until it changed its name and everything about it. The site is even more difficult to use now. No one answers the support number on the site. Abound is NOT the bank of choice!

I never had any problems with Abound Credit Union. All workers are very respectful.

They have electronic signatures and you don’t get to read what you sign. Turns out it takes a solid 5 days for checks to clear. Definitely something worth bringing up when opening an account. I have spoke with the branch and expressed my concerns twice now. First time was when I found out they were holding a check for 5 days; Second time was to see if they would cash a $4k check when I have $8k in the bank and they said no it’s still a 5 day hold. The branch will be able to give you my name and info. Ask for the gal who does new accounts.

Having used credit unions for over 20 years, I find that Fort Knox FCU is a real disappointment. The banking statement is like a dot matrix printout. I was charged $5 for failing to use bill pay one month. I was charged $1 per transaction for using my debit card as a debit card. It seems that I have to use it as a credit card to avoid the charges meaning that I forfeit the extra security of requiring a PIN with my card. They do not even have an interest bearing checking account. The interest on savings is at the absolute minimum level. I cannot find any benefit to me to using this financial institution.

I’m so tired of dealing with Fort Knox Federal. Honestly they are a trash bank. From all the over draft fees (even tho I had money in my savings) to not depositing a check I got from my insurance company that I need for repairs. Once I pay off my LOC. I’m done with this bank.

The people who work here are always friendly and helpful. Most of the time they know it's me without me having to tell them.
