ABNB Federal Credit Union W 21st St, Norfolk

This bank used to be good and humans used to regularly override the system punishing customers, but not anymore. They take their time processing mobile checks only on M-F before 3:30 when other banks process instantly. Because I work for a small business, I get paid in paper checks only on Friday nights and cant get my money until 1pm on Monday after the bank employees take their lunch. (Which isnt a detail I needed to know while Im waiting for money to buy my own lunch) And yet there are still branches open on Saturdays. Sometimes a charge will hit my account Monday morning, but ABNB will sooner charge me an overdraft fee before processing my check late afternoon! I got it waived once and then got told not anymore. There used to be a grace period to avoid things like this. I cant drive to a branch to deposit because im disabled and my bank is punishing me for being broke and using an app thats supposed to make this process more accessible.

Difficult to get ahold of, online banking and app are difficult to use. Their policies are far stricter than what is normal so if you ever have late payments, their fees are astronomical. Dealerships hate using this bank. Would never recommend this bank to anyone.

The best credit union. I have not used this branch however the online services are great you can transfer money from savings to checking or vice versa and the money is immediately available. Never had issues with face to face service. They can improve their online bill pay the pay dates are too far out which can cause late payment; I don’t use this feature that much because of that.

Do not!! And i mean do not use rhis bank for any kind of services. Completely unreliable and will double pull loan payments. Good luck reaching anyone to help you on the phone. All they do is refer you to message center, may i add is the same as talking to someone on the phone. Terriable bank, terrible online services, Terriable intrest rates, and Terriable customer service

My daughters debit card is new but when she uses it in a store it comes up expired. She is going to school in NC. They said they would fedex her a new card but here it is a week later and 4 calls to them and she still does not have her debit card. They did not issue the card until Tuesday and a call to them today and they are saying it will be 1-4 days. That is not fedex or good service. There are no branches any where near her school or at all in NC. THIS IS POOR service.

This is a neat location of a great credit union. The staff is friendly and helpful and has tons of great financial information.

I love ABNB FCU. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT AND PEOPLE ARE VERY NICE. I HAVE REFERRED A LOT OF MY FRIENDS

I just went into this branch to take care of some banking business,I'm the only person in line on crutches, I might add. They ask me to hold one moment. (4 ladies in the branch including a receptionist) One lady on the phone making lunch orders and the other 2 ladies may have been helping someone at the drive thru, so the lady that was making a lunch order should have put that call on hold to help me. As soon as I head toward the door to leave, then they ask me if they can help me. Hell no.Did I say I was on crutches.....Poor customer service. I've never had this experience with ABNB before.
