4U Credit Union Lawrence St, Gainesville

They've been great for me, I've had multiple small loans through them and they've always been friendly and professional. My only real complaint is no online pay portal which is where the 4 star comes in.

I wouldn't recommend banking with them. Sometimes they are rude, and a majority of the time they are operate at a snail's pace. Don't ask for change here, especially if you have a business. You'll be waiting for a century till you get what you need. Best part too, they won't give you bulk rolled coins in a box. I guess it's a B.Y.O.B kind of thing. It must be amusing to them but to their customers it is not.

I have been banking with this bank for close to 2 years. I've always had a savings account here but last year the tellers were treating me so horribly. They were rude and would give me dirty looks through the drive through this happened at the Gainesville branch. Never really had a problem from whitesboro branch. But I'm no longer banking here. I've worked in customer service for over 2 years and you don't treat your customers the way the tellers at the Gainesville branch treated me. I'm still keeping my savings account there but as far as checking. After this week I'm not putting my check into this bank again.

I have been apart of the Nascoga family for 15 yrs. I have had great dealings with the branch in Gainesville Texas. Lori among many others have been a great team at the drive thru. While Heather has been an awesome loan officer as well. 5 stars? You bet! Keep up the great work.

4U Credit Union is the best bank ever everything is so smooth with payments and checking accounts. I could not have asked for a better bank 🏦

Nothing but problems with this bank since I walked through the door. Advice that Kaylie Weaver should have told me when opening my account. If you open your account with a check, it will be held for 9 days before being able to access it. BUT, if you need it ASAP then get $75 from someone to open your account. It’ll be available after opening then you can turn around and deposit your check and it won’t have to be held. That screwed my family over by not letting me in on that info. She also doesn’t go over bank guidelines with you. Be expected to know nothing when walking out the door. You’ll have to read everything and learn every little detail on your own. She will also walk out of her office to make copies of stuff and start whispering to a coworker about you. She as well, didn’t look at my updated paper copy of my license when putting in my information. They absolutely couldn’t use an expired license, but sure did use it for all of my info. So my mailing address was wrong. After I told her while signing my paperwork, she didn’t even change it right then. She waited a week then called me to mail the updated copy to me to sign🤦🏼‍♀️. Oh, and the 9 days of holding your check won’t start on the day you deposit it. But she won’t tell you that either. Can’t wait to get my account straight with First State Bank. 4U was a terrible decision.

My son signed up for a free savings account. A couple months ago, he gets a letter saying if he doesn't do something he's going to start getting charged $5 a month. For a free savings? Well, we closed the account today, because we're moving and there are none of these in the Fort Worth area. Come to find out they opened him a checking account as well. He didn't ask for it, they didn't tell him, never got a single statement or checks regarding this account, etc. But they got their money anyway. They charge you $15 for closing the account if you've been there for under a year.

Great bank, great staff and the tellers are AWESOME. Have recommended people to bank there as well, and they’re happy with it. Very helpful staff, friendly and informative every time I call from out of town or come in.

I’ve been having issues with 4u credit union every since they took over here & I had a fraud situation started in the first of July and here it is October I put to much trust in the credit union to we’re I Neva watched my money with dat bein said in a six wk period someone fraud my account for $2,000.00 & im still waiting to get my money back so apparently so y’all tell me all banks & credit unions r FDIC RIGHT SO Y IM I HAVING TO WAIT FOR MY MONEY BE PUT BACK IN MY ACCOUNT IVE GIVING THM TWO WEEKS TO CALL AND TELL ME SOMETHING OR HAVE MY MONEY BACK IN MY ACCOUNT IF NOT IM GETTING MY ATTORNEY INVOLVED SO NO THERE NOT A GOOD PLACE TO BANK AT WHEN I GET MY MONEY BACK IM GOIN TO FIRST STATE!!
