It was my first time pawning an item, pawned a dell optiplex and a metal detector they loaned me 150 which was more than fair for a first time customer got my cash in about 15 minutes. Came back in a couple days to pay it off got my items back after about 10 minutes. Then decided to look around and picked out a vinyl LP and they gave it to me for free. Good Customer Service easy to work and are transparent would recommend

After loading our stuff in the car driving half hour round trip to go there and arriving in plenty of time they decide that they're closed like 10 minutes early. This place s*cks!

I went to this pawnshop today and the female working there was very unprofessional. Said it was closed but picked and chose who she let in. It happened around 3pm and I was tryna look at some jewelry for my nieces bday. So disappointed in her service. Never had a problem here up until today.

It's rare to find a pawn shop that actually tries to help people -- why should they? It's the lowest status and last option for loans or resale. But some places, like one or two out of the ten or twenty in a city, sometimes they give a good deal and stretch the rules for regular customers. 23rd Street Pawn is one such shop. Perhaps the only place like it in the Kansas City area. The only pawn shop I've had a consistent experience with -- and they guys that run it are chill af.

I had a stroller stolen from my home and have been having troubles getting from point A to Point B when I need to . When I spoke with the gentlemen on 3/11/2021 I received exceptional service and was provided with great care. As to the person('s) that to the original stroller, well, they can learn some integrity. Truly.But thx 23rd street pawn. whoop whoop

This place is the best pawn shop in the best pawn shop in the area. They have helped me out tremendously when other pawn shops would only offer half of what they do. They also take the time to get to know you and check in on your family. I won't go anywhere else and I wouldn't recommend anywhere else.

Very friendly staff. I am treated like family in this place. They are always willing to work with me on price. As of the most recent times that I have been in there the merchandise wasn't too exciting, but that's how it works sometimes. Over all I would recommend that you deal with this pawn shop over others.

I went to this pawn shop as it was the only one open on Sundays though I think I will pass the next time, the guy behind the counter was rude as could be and on top of that lied to me about the prices on ebay about the item I brought in just so he could pay me next to nothing, less than 1/3 of the items value on eBay. All in all terrible pawn shop

best pawn shop ever! went in and bought a guitar, amp, and case a while ago. the prices and people were amazing!!! the atmosphere itself is enough to bring people coming back. i love this store and plan on shopping here regularly.

Great people. Fair and easy to negotiate with. Has a little bit of everything you could want. They really go outta their way and try to make sure they could help ya out. One day I was in there a lady was trying to pawn some things to get a few groceries and hopefully some mcdonalds for her kid if there was anything left. What she had wasn't worth a whole lot and who I'm assuming was the owner was finished with the transaction gave her her money and then proceeds to reach back behind the counter and hands her a $50 price chopper gift card and tells the kid make sure he gets something good. For that one selfless act i will forever and only go to this place

The people here are extremely sweet everything, the service was fast and everything in here is marked at a very good price. I would recommend this place to anyone! The best pawn shop around!!

I haven't been here in years, but I'm glad I stopped in today. I wanted to look at some tools, and they had a good selection at great prices. I haven't ever sold anything to a pawn shop before, but everyone coming in there seemed real happy with his rates, and it makes me want to do some house cleaning and take a few things in. They have made great changes to this shop, and I'm planning on going back soon.
