weird experience...simple questions were not answered and was greeted passive aggressive and condescendingly no logical response at all by the lady "helping" me she put in the notes that I was rude to her when she said she would have Mike explain it to me when I picked up my laptop, that was not the case. I don't care if she's been doing it 40 years or 2 days no one person is the same and should be treated with respect.when I have a question about why they won't take unfully charged laptops I except to be educated on it or learn more from Mike about my concern not treated like a punk like i was. I was met with a snotty attitude and lied about how I was to make herself look better to Mike. Made it very awkward to pick my laptop. Been a frequent customer for awhile and always loved doing business with Mike, but she cut the cord on the relationship.

I didn't have the greatest experience, but I may have just been in a persnickity mood today. The owner was kind enough to reply without getting personal and I'll try to do the same. I understand he may have had a problem with theft in the past and I get that, but not every potential client is dishonest. He totally freaked out when I opened the case to inspect a $3 CD. Just my opinion, but I guarantee you that I went in feeling mellow and came out a bit perturbed. You lost a sale today, but there's always tomorrow. Coleen gave you high marks and had some wisdom to impart on me today. It's been a rough year for us all, so I'll dial back my comments a bit in the hope for a smoother visit next time. ** The Uber customers were cool and said I should give you another chance. Also you have a lot of great reviews so maybe it's just me. I'm changing my comments a bit, so I don't hurt your business. Far better than my previous pawn shop experiences. Went in to look at lever-action rifles. Got a great rifle on lay-away. The staff are super knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. They will be my first stop for my next firearm purchase. Not to mention they had a great selection of golf clubs, power tools, etc. Check them out!

These guys were very friendly. They led me in the right direction without being pushy. Smiles and jokes were shared. I purchased a shotgun. I was in and out in less than 15 min. They know what they are talking about. Great people and great business! I will definitely be back.

Mike is an amazing Shop owner .I have been lucky to do buisness with for many years. I am thankful as things open up he is still here to help his community and Shoppers.The whole covid 19 pandemic tested us all. He stayed around to help those whom needed it,and did so with safety as a top priority. You never know what you will find in this awsome little shop.

I went in to see about getting a detailed receipt for a previous purchase that I had made and paid for with a 500.00 dollar cashier s check. I waited for him to finish talking to his employee and acknowledge me and started to explain what I needed. He interrupted me asking when it was so I pointed to the date on the check stub and flew off the handle and said to come back when I could be polite. I said I wasn't being rude just pointing to the date. He raised his voice and said just leave and come back when you can be polite....Well I will NEVER return and I am telling everyone I know what happened and what a RUDE guy he really is. This cover stuff is no excuse to act like that to a supposed valued customer....I've spent 1700.00 dollars in his store in the last 4 months but he'll not EVER get another dime from me.....

Mike was more than helpful. New to the area and wanted to check out some local shops and he was great. Honest prices and great service

The only pawn shop in the world that does not go down in price, not even by a dollar. The whole point of entering pawn shops such as this one is that you can get a good deal and haggle over price. That’s the fun of it. Most pawnbrokers build an extra 15 percent into their prices so that they can go down from ticket price. This guy claims “We do all sorts of research to give you the best price possible and it already is a good price.” Not true, they are high priced on everything. The owner needs to understand there’s a trade off for going into a store with less ambiance than Walmart-and by refusing to drop price he’s ruining the experience of a pawn shop. I’m sure he has lost many sales due to this.

Owner(I assume) was very rude and argumentative. Zero customer service skills. I had no qualms with his mask required policy, which he seems to think is the reason for the bad review(it is not). Make no mistake about it I have worked in retail for 10+ years and if I acted like this guy toward customers (condescending and rude) I would have been fired.

Owner is very nice, but unfortunately, the prices are very high for a pawn shop with no possibility for negotiation. People do not go into pawn shops to pay retail prices or higher. This probably explains the sheer amount of unsold items in the shop, many with price tags fading from age.

I have never had a better experience with any business. Extremely honest and reasonable. I will not use any other pawn shop to make a purchase or if needing a loan. They treat you like a human being and show you respect. We were in a tough bind and they didnt hesitate to try and get me exactly what i needed out of my item. Absolutely the best pawn shop around. Always friendly and willing to help. Anytime I visit 12th Street pawn I am greeted with a smile and a handshake. Mike will always call me by name and makes sure I leave happy. Thanks so much for providing such fantastic customer service, it is very hard to find these days but Mike and his staff always go above and beyond.

Called 12th Street Pawn & Loan from Logan, Utah to inquire about the possibility of selling some silver to 12th Street Pawn & Loan. Spoke with Mike over the phone, and he was very informative as well as courteous. Based on this quick phone call, I drove to Ogden to the 12th Street Pawn shop, and within 15 minutes I was able to sell some sliver to Mike at a very fair price. Mike was very professional, didn't try to get me to trade anything from the Pawn Shop for my silver, didn't try to make me purchase anything, etc. Overall fantastic experience from the phone call I made in Logan to the time I walked out the door of 12th Street Pawn & Loan. I highly recommend visiting Mike and his staff when considering which Pawn Shop to conduct business with!

Mike runs his shop in a very professional, fair, and friendly manner. Always willing to help you as much as possible, and not screw customers over. All merchandise is top quality and in great condition. I’ve purchased some electronic equipment for a good price, and it still works perfectly without any issues. Mike always calls his customers by name and makes you feel comfortable with the business that he runs. 12th St. Pawn Shop is #1 and the best around.

I started coming here when I started dating my boyfriend because he frequents Mike's pawn shop. The staff is all super nice, prices are fair, and it has a comfortable vibe in the shop. If there's anything you have questions about concerning a product or price and they don't know, they will look it up for you. They quality check all of the items they sell before putting a price on anything. I always thought pawn shops were sleazy but this shop has shown me that there are places that do fair business and don't try to overcharge their customers. Mike and Nathan run an excellent establishment, not the least being the obvious care they have for their customers. If you have ever heard or read of a bad experience it is because the customer wanted 100 bucks for a 5 dollar item or something equally as ludicrous. . Mike and Nathan are not only unequivocally honest they are extraordinarily friendly, too. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of quick cash. I also wrote a review on Yelp. I cant say enough amazing things about these guys. The owner and his crew are super friendly and helpful. Great customer service everytime. If you need to be worked with on your pawn, communication is key, but they will work with you within reason. They are not like your normal pawn shops. They are better, so if you are needing to pawn go here. They are fair on what they give and they are amazing to work with!

Best prices for gold jewelry anywhere around. The only place where you can go and aren't getting a 100 to 200 percent markup. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

I stopped into 12th street pawn by chance, on my way to another pawn shop. I had never been and found myself turning around to check it out. I walked in and was immediately greeted by, I am assuming the owner, who smiled through a very sexy mustache at me and I immediately felt at home and comfortable in his shop. I was selling a fire arm that was no longer wanted. I was treated like a friend, being addressed by my first name, and was given a very fair price for my gun. I will return to the shop, if for nothing else then to be greeted with a smile and warm welcome.

Disgusted with this joke of a pawnshop owner, HE IS THE most unprofessional rude pawnshop owner I’ve ever dealt with (and I’ve dealt with a lot). He was very rude, short, snappy, and he talked to me as if he was inconvenienced with my questions and concerns. I find it very very odd that as awful as he is in person that he has so many 5 star reviews and it’s also very odd that he either has 5 star reviews or 1 star reviews with none in between. Wouldn’t recommend to even my worst of friends, but I would however send people I hate to this shop.

This is by far the best pawn shop to do business with. They are in business to make money, but they are the most honest and understanding people to do business with. They totally get what it takes to keep lifetime customers. I have fallen behind on payments to them in the past and they are totally cool about it. I also love going in and hearing them call me by name, or greeting me with "Hello friend". Just fantastic business and people all around. Ill never go anywhere else!

When I come here to pawn things I do not feel like I am losing my stuff I feel like I am just going to miss it for a little while...the owner Mike and his employees are absolutely amazing!! They are the most amazing pawn shop I’ve ever dealt with and they are the kindest and most understanding people I’ve ever dealt with!
