Well, Debbie, who didn’t even ask for my account info, took one look at me and the “needed endorser” and said no. Now, had Debbie asked for my BOA account info she would have quickly realized that I am a Preferred Rewards Platinum Honors client. Enough said. I had more than enough to cover the check. But , she simply said no based on the only thing she could see…color. But she offered to add the “needed endorser” as a joint owner to my account. The account she never asked about…which is pretty much part of their greeting when you arrive at the bank. Yes…she said that to someone who isn’t my husband. Long story short, I took the check to my credit union (him in tow) and they honored the check immediately. Moral of this story, don’t assume the worst as you just lost one of your best customers since 1995."
