AFCU did just that today :) I received the email around 830 am saying they received my complaint from google reviews and to call to speak with a manager . So when i first called in I spoke to Charlotte first , she took my information and wanted to reach out to me once she pulled calls and understood what was going on. She was super sweet but she didn't know exactly what was going on besides what was in the notes , I gave her a more detailed version but she still wanted to pull the calls and do further research to come with the best solution, which i completely get, she needed to hear both sides. Cool. Now the person who made the actual call back was Lauren, who I assume was over Charlotte because she had all of my information and had already pulled & listened to calls . She was soooo pleasant, like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. She listened, understood exactly what I was talking about and , fixed my issue. Not only did she resolve my issue she gave me additional information about the AFCU processes along with telling me about certain security features I can utilize in the future to prevent fraud. Just by them calling and letting me know that I was valued, important, and my complaint mattered ? Literally turned my entire day around. As I said in the original post, I have been in customer service for over a decade, and now I am on the operations side of things , so I completely understand how processes work and the importance behind them. I, in no form expect people to do things out of their reach but I do expect empathy when things go wrong and when I was misinformed. These ladies? Deserve a raise. They went above and beyond . They let it be known to me that I was not just another number and my membership is valued ,This is the AFCU I know and this is the AFCU that I signed up with 10 years ago. Their customer service has always been #1 in all branches, so I will not let a few bad apples ruin my relationship with AFCU. Keep up the great work you guys! Thank you again Lauren and Charlotte!"
