Man said he just had A5s prior to me stopping in, tough break. I was surprised at the number of Colts on hand. Nice store overall.

I don't know how the experience goes of selling something here, but I love shopping here. I find the owner and his Springer spaniels to be very friendly and lovely. I'm very happy with the prices, especially for tools. the cool part with pawn shops is you can haggle (to a point), especially if you're buying several things. My partner especially loves the firearm counter but has yet to buy one. For those complaining that you are lowballed when trying to pawn, the thing you need to understand is that pawn shops make a profit off selling second hand items. You will not get what the item is worth. If you want $200 bucks for a $200 tool, then you're better off selling it privately. If you want to make money off things that arent worth much to you, then a pawn shop is probably for you.

Certainly a place you want to check out if you want to see some interesting weaponry and maybe snag something at a good price. I've bought and sold a few things here now and while the owner is nice he's no nonsense and doesn't cater to anyone. He can seem pretty standoffish enough to make you feel uncomfortable but he knows what he's doing. Don't expect to walk in there to pawn something and he'll throw a number out at you. He asks you what you want for it, and if you respond 'what will you give me for it' he'll throw you a non-serious low ball offer to make you finally ask what you want for it, then the bartering begins. He gets all kinds of interesting things in stock, SCAR's, UZI's, M1A's, and of course has all the normal weapons, AR's, AK's, hunting rifles and shotguns for days. He also has a great line up of handguns ranging in price from $250-$4500. He doesn't just sell and buy firearms though, he gets all kinds of goodies, plate carriers, generators, motorcycles, TV's and all that good stuff. So if you're looking for a no nonsense place where the owner doesn't want to be your best friend but wants to do business then I'd suggest going here. You'll never know what you will find. The only complaint I have is that the parking is terrible since it's street parking and it's right where all the snow gets plowed off to so if you don't want to risk getting stuck in snow park around the corner.

I never expect great results when trying to trade guns at a pawn shop. On firearms this guy will low ball you out of the store. Won’t be any place I return to again !

I pass thru Laramie once or twice a year on my way to Denver and make a point of stooping in at this pawn shop and only this shop. Been to the others but Westbrook's is the best. Great attitude, fair prices, and knows what sells. Plus he's get a huge collection of old rifles to look at. Don't know why some people gripe about everything, they must be a joy to live with. Westbrooks is great.

Pretty fair values on most items. It's worth a trip just to see the not for sale firearm collection. My first stop whenever I need a tools or firearm.
