Woodforest Bank Brookway Blvd, Brookhaven

Was traveling back to Texas from Alabama and stopped at the Walmart to get a few things before getting a hotel room for the night. My transaction was declined and so i used my Woodforest mobile app to double check my accounts and saw that it was good. Called the 800 number but it was after hours so could not speak to customer service. Saw that they had a Woodforest inside the walmart and that the gate was still open and they had 3 cashiers behind the counter. Told them I was traveling and needed to get cash from my account because my card was not working. I was told that they were closing for the day and that there was NOTHING they could do. I was very surprised that they would not atleast attempt to help me becasue the branch in Texas has always bent over backwards to help. Branch in Mississippi needs a lesson in customer service.

I love doing my banking with Woodforest, they operate like no other bank I've ever used. Open on Saturday and Sunday. They are a full service bank offering loans and many account plans, and FDIC insured

I began to bank with them because of the extended hours and being open weekends...especially Sunday. They no longer open on Sundays and I'm not happy about that change. They do offer the convenience of making a deposit thru the cashier in the Walmart though.

The worse bank ever, rude. And they refuse to allow me to take my money out. They DON'T deserve ANY STARS

They don't answer the phone when customer calls
