I love banking here! I’m always greeted friendly and given professional service. I have my checking and savings accounts set up at this bank and have had few issues in my time here. Also not having to pay ATM fees is a major plus about Wintrust Bank’s total access checking accounts!

Good local bank. Less problems than TCF bank down the street. I recommend highly and advise against using TCF bank, previously was with them (TCF) for 20 years. Since their merger in August 2020 customer service got really poor

I've been at this bank, literally, since I was a child and opened-up my first bank account. Since Suburban Bank & Trust was acquired by Wintrust, it is simply and regrettably not the same. Wood Dale Bank & Trust fails to build relationships with its long-time customers; contrary to when it was Suburban Bank & Trust, the customer service is now poor (occasionally there is a person who will provide good service). They are not proactive in reaching out to their customers and helping them plan ahead; the level of communication is poor. Any professional should know that a lack of communication with their clients makes it very likely that there will be a strained relationship. My advice to the Bank's leadership is that you: (1) actually build relationships with your clients (at minimum by providing automated emails communicating the details of their accounts); (2) work with your customers and--don't charge penalty fees for every single opportunity you have (Suburban Bank & Trust would not hesitate to waive fees for their long-time customers); (3) see how you can help your customers and don't just reach out when there is a potential refinancing, mortgage, or similar type of opportunity; and (4) find ways of making a real connection with customers.

Their ATM has never worked. Their employees are rude and act like their customers don’t know how to use an ATM. It is constantly being “fixed” and out of order, yet it still works like garbage. Their employees are uninformed and and have been saying they are getting a new ATM ever since they opened. I never had any problems while banking with SBT. Bank elsewhere!!!

Been with village bank and trust Arlington heights since I was 16. They help u w overdrafts, and listen to this , besides they pay u back for ATM fees, but when I used ATMs in Mexico my aunt got charged $300 in fees I got $400 in fees but wintrust paid me back without having me calling. Best bank ever Bill Kozlowski

The mobile app requires your last bank statement just to do anything invoking the password instead of security questions. And with e statements it's impossible to do yourself
