    My wife and I have been members for years, which will soon be changing. Historically I have been very happy and even referred multiple banking clients to them. Recently the customer service level has gone way downhill. Unfortunately you'll have to deal with sitting on hold for hours to get things done, and each time you'll get a difference answer to your question. My warning is this, if you're fairly successful, own a business, or deal with trust accounts, this is not the place for you and you will not have a personal relationship with the folks at Wings. My wife and I have concluded that the good rates are not enough to outweigh the extremely poor customer service.

    Customer for decades who has moved on for daily banking needs as the digital experience is very poor at Wings. Their loans are good but their digital banking needs an overhaul. I grew tired of the lack of ownership when I tried to engage and help troubleshoot. I had many offer to call me back with updates, etc. and one of four people actually called me back. Rather than wasting time troubleshooting, I used the time to move to another bank.

    I’ve been with them for 5 years had lots of car loans and currently still have one. They use to be great until recently. Amy is a weirdo and so is Wendy the supervisor. Becky is great tho.!!! But they denied me for a loan after they approved me. Which doesn’t make sense. Well not to me. But yeah. I still got the car thru a different credit union. So I’m not mad @ all. This is just a honest review

    I gave this rating because this is the second time I had to report this bank. I would like to report this banker because they need to learn not to pass on personal information about the customer without permission. If the customer did not authorize certain people to know about their banking information it should not be said. I have had this banker named Leroy Dangler report to members of my family about where I work and also my car payment and banking status without my permission. I have called the branch and made my complaint and nothing was done to resolve my issues. I want this banker reported and the situation handled immediately. Let your workers know that customers information is CONFIDENTIAL and should not be discussed outside of the bank premises or they will have consequences because it seems like no one really cares about the customers well being. Please take care of this matter with this banker named above or I will just be calling Corparate on the bank personally. This is a disruption on HIPPA laws that I’m sure bank employees have to sign to once they get the job.

    On hold for more than 55 minutes!! To redeem a cd you MUST TALK to a customer service rep, can’t do it online! So you at the mercy of Wings staffing problems to get the assistance you need - terrible service!

    I’ve been a member for 35 years. The past 2 days I can’t get through to any customer service. I’m on hold forever. I call the local and 800 number. My problem is with the ViSA program. I haven’t received a bill since last month. I’ve always waited for one to come in the mail, then I go over it and pay it. So I’m assuming the visa department went totally online. It would have been proper for me to be notified. I was charged a $25 fine for not paying on time. I consider this very poor customer service.

Messaging should have been sent out notifying you that Visa statements were being migrated to eStatements, and we apologize for the missed communication. If you contact our call center or send us a chat message in CU Online by clicking 'ask us' in the lower right corner of your screen, a member service rep can look into the late charge for you. If you're in the chat window you can type 'agent' to request live help during business hours.

    Have had an auto loan with them for almost 2 years and it’s been the most inconvenient time trying to make my loan payments because I always need to run around a look for a computer since I can’t pay my loan through the app, or the website on my iPhone... also, somebody answer the dang phone for once please and not play phone tag with me all day and transfer me to the wrong people over and over. Thanks. Fix your app features to be more convenient to ALL of your customers...

    My father recently passed and had a home equity line of credit with the Apple Valley Wings Financial. I notified them right away of his passing and that the line would be paid off as soon as we sold the house. They knew we had to go through probate and it would be a few months before this would happen. They called for payment many, many times. One guy in particular was extremely rude about it. The line ended up being paid off four months after my father's passing. The whole experience was upsetting and looking back, I shouldn't have given them my contact info. I just thought I was doing the right thing by keeping them informed.

    I had the displeasure of speaking with Amy in their loans department. She mislead me and discriminated against me due to my income level. I tried to speak to her supervisor and left him a message but he never called me back. I tried my best to do the right thing by Wings and to pay my balance, however Amy mislead me and I had to pay an additional $500 due to her negligence. I cannot wait to pay off my car so I never have to deal with this awful credit union again. Unfortunately, life circumstances happen and they do not seem to understand that. I had cash in hand and tried two times to make a several thousand dollar payment only to get a bum rush at the door. I was asked to call their loan team. I spoke to Amy on 1/29 and reiterated what I had been told by a Woodbury teller on Friday 1/28 regarding my balance. I had the printout with me and she refused to listen to me, cut me off several times, and discriminated against me because I am a poor single mom/nursing student. I work as much as I can but fell behind on my car loan because I was trying to study as much as possible. She made me feel awful. I honestly don't wish this situation on anyone. Wings loves to approve people but god forbid you ever fall behind on something and they are quick to throw you to awful employees like Amy. I sincerely hope she improves her customer service attitude. I understand we are having a staffing crisis as a country, but it can't be so bad that employers are hiring people who are so cruel.

    Went in and kindly asked for help. Lady was short-worded, unwelcoming, and had an attitude with me the entire time even though i continued to treat her kindly. Did not explain things well, or help me understand things. Have been thinking about switching banks now for some time. Do not recommend wings.

    I got 2 separate loans of 5k each and paid them off and now that I want to get a vehicle that’s a 2001 but it’s in great shape, they won’t give me a loan for what I need to get the vehicle, including my trade in and cash down they won’t do it. Plus the person I dealt with wasn’t helpful at all.

    This is a horrible credit union and I strongly advise people NOT to do business with Wings CU. First off, I applied for membership with them which led to a hard inquiry on my credit score, and impacted my credit with them. I waited for almost 6 days to receive some kind of communication from Wings. I received an e-mail from Kristi Sellwood, one of their account services staff. She demanding that I send you a selfie holding my driver's license, as well as other documentation through insecure plain text e-mail. They have no secure portal for uploading these documents. This puts your security and identity at risk. I went along with it because I really wanted their interest account. That's why I went through the trouble of applying and having the hard inquiry on my credit report. After sending the required documents, two days later I just received a cookie cutter copy and paste e-mail from Mrs. Sellwood that said we can't verify your identity. Really? I sent everything that was required. You never even made any attempt to reach out to me personally. I feel that this credit union does not even treat their customers as human beings. You could have written a personal reply to the e-mail or called me. I called the main phone number for Wings, and after being on hold for over an hour, a customer service rep finally answers. After 15 minutes he said he absolutely could not find any record of my application. I guess Mrs. Sellwood just rejected it without any further communication, and it's just gone. So I got a hard inquiry negatively affecting my credit and they didn't even treat me well nor make any effort to communicate with me. The customer service rep on the phone then disconnected the call with me (possibly by accident), but after being on hold for over 1 hour, and to then being hung up on like that, and being told they couldn't find my application anywhere, I have to be honest, it really hurt and stung to be treated like that. I have sent multiple e-mails to Mrs. Sellwood asking for follow-up on the application, and she has not even bothered to respond. I wish I could file other consumer complaints against this business, and I am looking into options for doing this.

    "COVID, NOT ACCOUNTABLE". Was very pleased when I brought my 823 credit score to them for an auto loan. Attempted to obtain a mortgage loan through them due to a family member passing away, not due to "COVID, NOT ACCOUNTABLE". Spoke with Tim H***, who I still have not heard back from over a month ago. "COVID, NOT ACCOUNTABLE". 2nd attempt with Dan A*********, again, sent all paperwork from branch office and verified sent by employee. No response after multiple attempts to contact. "COVID, NOT ACCOUNTABLE" is not a professional policy. Looking elsewhere to obtain auto loan, mortgage and savings. "COVID, NOT ACCOUNTABLE". Update: 1 YEAR and still zero contact from wings financial mortgage clown show. Not even a response on this review....Pathetic.

    Getting my accounts were super easy to get set up. I moved out of the state and cut up my cards (credit and debit). I needed to make a credit card payment with a different bank card and they bounced me between 3 different numbers 2 different times just to tell me that I have no way of making a payment without the 3 digit number on the back of the card, even though they made me confirm my identity and already had my account information. I now have to drive 4 1/2 hours to go to the bank in order to attempt to pay my credit card bill. Unbelievable!
