Wilson & Son's Pawn & Gun N Garfield Ave, Sand Springs

Make this jerk your last resort. I just got back from more than 18 months military and stopped by Wilson & Sons Pawn to see about selling my old stereo and laptop. I walked in and said Hello to a man and woman behind the counter. They didn't acknowledge me. They didn't greet me as a customer or even look up. Right about the time I thought they hadn't heard me, the guy looked at me and asked "What do you want?" without any of the customary courtesy involved in a shop owner-customer or any other normal human interaction. I started to mention my stereo and he interrupted me to tell me he didn't handle stereos, then went back to his other conversation. I've been overseas and spent several years in NYC. This behavior would be rude in any circumstances in any place, much less coming from a business owner. I hit every pawn shop in Sand Springs and Tulsa that day. Every other shop was polite and friendly, despite declining my stereo. Whitey's Pawn and Tools by Cecil & Sons Tires on E Morrow Rd is a much better bet. Whitey's is professional and polite for one thing. Plus, Whitey's is a bigger store.

Called to ask about the availability of a video game console, whoever answered the phone was extremely curt. They answered the phone with "pawn shop" and answered my questions with yes or no only.

The rudest old man that I have ever met. He told me that he was not intrested in buying any tools. His entire shop is full of tools. So I asked him what he was interests in buying.
