Going into the process with little knowledge they took the time to explain every last detail and question I had for them no matter the time of day. Making my first home buying experience very enjoyable with peace of mind and coming out with a lot more knowledge then coming into the experience! Never would I have thought that the mortgage process would have been so easy. You always hear nightmare stories about the process but not with Bill. He was available and capable of answering all of my questions regardless of the time of day. Most of the time he called me to give me an update before I even had a chance to think about following up. Not only was Bill a pleasure to work with but everyone on the team, including Katie was great. She kept everything organized and EASY to handle. My experience with the mortgage process definitely would have been different if it had not been for these two. Back in January I was in need of a Construction loan FAST in order to scoop up a house that needed some work done. I tried two other bigger banks and it was as if they were playing chess during their work hours and not trying to help me.. so slow. Let me just start off by saying this was our first time purchasing a home and it was a BREEZE!! Bill Sr, Bill Jr., Katie and the rest of the team were absolutely the BEST! I was able to obtain a very complicated 203k Renovation loan from The Maier Team at United Mortgage. We purchased a bank foreclosure property on the Navesink River, and obtained additional financing for a 450,000 renovation on the property. The Maier Team is exceptionally well versed in these types of RENOVATION loans and seamlessly interfaced with my builder, the HUD Consultant and the entire team. They worked around a tidelands claim issue with the property, and referred us to a great attorney as well. I have been doing business with William Maier since 1995 and I have had one amazing experience after another . He is like the Mortgage Doctor!!!! We will be using them again!!!!!!!
