Despite positive reviews, my experience was very disappointing. There were multiple sellers on the property and the paperwork was sent digitally but was not the exact same to each seller. When asked why the document was not the same, the excuse was there were too many pages to send everyone the complete document. Since it was a digital copy, I asked for the completed version from each seller for my files. To day, I have only received half the remaining sellers documents. Also, promises were made regarding timeliness and were not kept. To compensate, we had to jump through hoops to close because paperwork wasn’t sent early enough to allow for processing. When asked why the delay, the response was that we weren’t the only closing they were handling. However, they set the closing schedule so they should have allowed for their work load and gave a more reasonable timetable. Now, they’ve sent a revised 1099-S that does not correlate with the amount received and with no explanation for why it’s being revised. Overall, this has been a frustrating and irritating experience.

10 months after closing a 1031 sale of farm land in Lubbock, we just received an 'overpaid recording and courier fees' refund - except the check was sent to the seller's address and made payable to the accommodator so it could't be cashed. This required phone calls, returning the check (they promised to add postage to the replacement check and didn't) and getting a replacement made payable to the seller at their address. This seems like a long time to finally close out a transaction.

My family and I have closed through then multiple time and haven't ever had a problem. Great people and great service. They do not lie or deceive you. They are the neutral party in closing on a property. Lori is wonderful to work with and is prompt in answering any and all questions you may have regarding your title.

Enjoyed my experience with Western Title. The communication and efficiency was excellent. I look forward to closing many more deals with the Western Title team!
