We always investigate fraud claims, and we provide a refund if the investigation proves fraud occurred. However, in situations in which the charge is indeed authorized by the cardholder, even if the cardholder does not agree with the terms or the amount, it is considered a “dispute” rather than “fraud.” In this case, as with all cases of dispute, we did our best to mediate and assist with a resolution. Sometimes, however, it is out of our hands and must be addressed directly with MasterCard on their fee schedule. We’re truly sorry that our attempts to help did not meet your expectations.
