Wells Fargo Bank John Ben Shepperd Pkwy, Odessa

Every time I go in I am greeted friendly by someone and the service has been outstanding. I've dealt with several different people in each of the buildings and they have all been great.

My problem is their hours. They close at 5 everyday and 12 on sat. Even on Fridays they don't have any extended hrs. Most people work till 5. Makes it very hard on their customers. They should attempt to extend hrs. Atleast until 530pm and 1pm on weekends. This would help a lot of people. Also Branch on west side is closed. They are not making it easy to bank with them.

I do not bank here and will never bank here. I have to come for my job and it is at least an hour to hour and a half wait in the commercial line. This is due to the fact that no money can be made from commercial customers so why service us. This is sad considering we bring in more money than the average person making a deposit. Some of the staff is nice but not many. Maybe in larger cities Wells Fargo is good but not here.

I just sat in the commercial lane for, literally, an hour with only 2 cars in front of me. It took them 30 minutes to do one transaction. When the line is 7 cars deep, you would think they would make an attempt to move a little bit quicker. I have never used a bank that moves so slow. This alone is enough to keep me from using Wells Fargo for personal banking.

For the past 6 months the 2 ATMs at this bank hardly ever accept deposits which makes it a HUGE inconvenience for me and all Wells Fargo customers. I had never experienced this at another WFB at a different city. Today was the 3rd time I tried making a deposit, I give up. I think it’s time for me to get business with a new bank.

Terrible bank. Idiotic guidelines in regards to the pandemic that don’t even follow CDC guidelines. They make everything increasingly difficult to do just for the sake of making things difficult. They charge ridiculous fees for no reason just to scam money off of clients. Bank elsewhere.

This bank is always inconsistent. If I have to wait for a banker literally just for bank statements the wait is extremely long. I say if because sometimes tellers can help and other times they can not. One time when asking why it’s inconsistent we were asked if we wanted to start making our way to another location. The employees can be extremely rude. This is not the first time an employee tried to have me leave as if I am an inconvenience. We have been members for almost 10 years and I absolutely hate this branch. Other branches are completely out of my way and inconvenient.

I've been using Wellsfargo over a decade and this is definitely the worst branch I've ever used. Waiting time is forever even just for a small thing. Every time I come here line is really long.

In their defense, they mostly have decent people that usually try to be helpful. BUT, they are WOEFULLY understaffed for what they are asked to do. They constantly have long lines, and they are TERRIBLE about not answering their phones. They have all sorts of ridiculous policies that are nefariously designed to help them collect more overdraft charges and other fees. For example, I've been a customer there for over 18 years. Recently they put a hold on a ten day hold on a very substantial royalty income check that I deposit every month. When I called to talk to them about it, it took me over an hour and a half to get the right person on the phone (most calls were not even answered). When they finally called me back, they claimed that they still needed to "look at it further" to see if the hold could be removed. I almost went through the roof. I have over $100,000 in several accounts at their bank, and come first thing Monday morning, I will be pulling all of it out. I am sick and tired of their crap!!! The convenience of their widespread locations is nice, but it's not worth putting up with BS like this. Also, their bankers tend to be quite inexperienced because they are forced to meet so many high pressure cold call sales quotas that almost nobody lasts there for very long.

The bankers were friendly, but could not figure out how to set up my online banking due to an old account from many years ago. What a horrible hassle. Plus, the wait to see a banker was at least 45 minutes. I closed my new accounts when the issue was still not resolved after 2 additional trips into the bank to provide more info to try to solve the problem.
