Wells Fargo Bank University Ave, Middleton

Every time I go to this particular bank the female tellers seem to mess something up that I've requested. For example: the last time I went in on June 16th, 2021 I asked for my two most recent bank statements. Well, instead of asking me, “for which account” Because I have two... she gave me the statements from the account that I still share with my ex. I handed her my ID, with only my name on it, not his. Instead of printing off the account statements matching my ID, she printed off the account with my ex’s name on it. Argh, I was home before I discovered it, several miles away! I have other examples similar to this one where the female teller didn't get it my requests right and my visit took much longer than it needed to be. Or, I had to make a second trip there because they had messed something up. Never had a problem with the male tellers. This is very frustrating as I'm a busy person. I want to trust they're handling my business with care and caution.

There's a middleaged/older lady with some sense of self respect and respect for others that I have had the pleasure of working with at this location. She's not a teller but a personal banker I believe. Wells Fargo in general however and nearly all their other staff and locations are pretty much a 0 star rating, however this lady (whose name I can't recall) has been a great resource. I much prefer this location as opposed to the one on Gammon Rd as the hostility there is intolerable.

If you want a bank to not return your phone calls about your account possibly being hacked. Even with leaving 4 voicemails, then this is the bank for you.

Great experience with the folks here. I know people can get mad when it comes to dealing money with bankers, but I am sure this branch deserves a better rating.

I hate having to bank here, but unfortunately I have to due to my corporate office. Wells Fargo is the only bank still limiting change into summer 2021 when the change shortage happened in 2020. Businesses depend on change they cannot get from Wells Fargo. Thumbs down.

I have much banking experience and I can tell you from not a few but MANY visits to this branch, ALL the staff that I have encountered are genuinely friendly (a few recalled my name after just a few visits) and there to help, help, help in any way they can. Most banks in the Madison area are staffed with good friendly people, but this branch stands out, often exceeding my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Wells Fargo for all but investment banking (not the staffs fault, I have no doubt they are just following the company guidelines [but the only reason 4 not 5 stars]) and this branch in particular for your banking needs..

I've been banking at the East Towne branch for a while now and have always been treated with the utmost respect. Employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and super professional.

Always trying to sell and add more account to you. Skip this place and go to uw credit union!
