Wells Fargo Bank S Broadway, Santa Maria

I had a wonderful experience opening my account last week with Wells Fargo. I was greeted at the door and asked if I needed anything to drink or snack on. I spoke with Ann at the counter, which she had a personality that captivated my experience not only professional but personal. She then connected me to my personal banker, Emily :), a young intelligent woman, (Highly recommended), which she helped me open my account. I was greet by Vera, (Manager) personally. I couldn't expect anything more, I had my business taken care of and a smile to leave with.

First time I went to this bank I was greeted and helped as soon as I came in. I cant say that about any other WellsFargo in town.

Keeps declining my card when I have plenty of money in it. Customer service sucks and they rarely answer the phone.

Worst customer service experience. I have been a customer since 1992, no longer.

I attempted to contact the branch manager voice mail on Sunday but that was impossible so I shall share my experience here. This weekend around 3 pm I witnessed an obviously physically and otherwise disabled gentleman being stripped of his last ounce of dignity. Although the financial difficulties of other customers is not normally my business, the two service personnel made ignoring the train-wreck impossible. The young male associate announced that Mr. X was charged because he had spent his money on cigarettes, while the young female who I know to be Kim broadcast-ed that he foolishly wrote some con named Nathan a $300 check. At this point my concentration couldn't be diverted, I was a smoker so I needed to know how this affected my debits and credits. X and his helper, a middle aged Chuck Norris lookalike, cried that he would get dollar overdraft fee which would lead to a thirty five dollar fine which would concern the elder to check his ATM statement which would cause a two dollar charge which would trigger another thirty five dollar fine and trigger the cycle again and again. The helper was asking that some of X's government money or social security which was all gone be returned so he could buy medicine and they were refused. We also discovered who the nefarious Nathan was, for he was Mr. X's doctor. I really don't know what else to say. I plan to change banks as quick as possible but I am uncertain if the other banks are really any better. Perhaps they just do a better job of keeping their "business" a little more private.

Hate this bank, would not cash my check because of some non sense so i got rid of my account here.
