Wells Fargo Bank Reviews

Had a great experience at this bank. I drove 4.5 hrs to do banking with another bank and had to visit this bank as well. I was pleasantly surprised how friendly they were. Completed my transaction and answered all my questions with a smile and eased my worries. I was worried about going here because of the awful reviews. BUT remember folks those reviewers might be having a bad day or maybe they slipped in seconds before closing so their reviews might be tainted. Make your own decisions on places and if you smile they smile back. If in the area again I'd go back.

My goodness, these guys are so professional, quick and I Love that they all have smiles and are welcoming! Banking is scarey sometimes and these people make you feel at ease!! Good job! Keep up the good work

My Father-in-law and my husband had to business there today. My FIL is over 70 years old and uses a walker. He needed to go to the bathroom really badly and was denied over and over, per their “policy”. And then after the banking business was done and they were wrapping things up, the manager mentioned that if my FIL urinated outside, that someone would call the police! What nerve! Denying an old man a basic human necessity, and then threatened to call the cops! This place has no humanity.
I would like to apologize for the treatment your father-in-law received when visiting this branch. Allow me the opportunity to have this experience thoroughly reviewed and addressed. To get started, mention your review and Google username in an email to [email protected] (no account numbers). I appreciate you taking the time to share this with us, and I look forward to addressing these concerns. -Nick, Wells Fargo HL Social

Well Fargo is not a bank to do business with if you want to deal with a human being. You can’t get anybody to talk with on the phone to answer questions so you might be prepared when you go into the bank. We will be changing banks. Not that they will care.
Hello, Don. I'm sorry you haven't been able to reach this branch over the phone. To ensure I can forward each of your concerns appropriately, please mention your review, full name, phone number, address, and the reason for your call in an email to [email protected]. I have been to this location a few times and my thoughts are as follows; 1) The tellers don’t use discretion when processing transactions. They count-out cash deposits and withdrawals loudly so others can hear. I don’t experience this at other Wells Fargo locations. It’s disrespectful. 2) The greeter looks some customers “up and down” each time I visit. No eye contact though, she gave just a stale hello. It could cause someone to become irritated. The place is small, so having a nice personality and good body language should be key. Everyone can’t be a greeter. 3) The staff makes customers feel uncomfortable, always watching. It’s odd in an unwelcoming way. Maybe they should hire a security person to do all the watching and safety stuff, so they can get bank to true relationship banking. 2 stars, because I did my transaction, but felt like the staff was ready to pounce on me if a had an issue. I wonder if this location has folks that are just tired of working with the public? Maybe they need retraining? Not sure, but no one working there looked like me, which could be the issue too.
I appreciate your feedback. This is not the customer experience we strive for, and I hope you’ll accept my sincere apology for what happened. Please email me with your Google username at [email protected], and also mention your review on a Wells Fargo location (no account numbers). I appreciate your feedback and look forward to addressing your concerns. -AJ, Wells Fargo HL Social

If you go to your bank (nearly empty lobby & snowing outside) to execute a simple transaction & are told "You'll have to make an appointment & come back.", it's on you if you EVER return. Save yourself the heartburn, find another bank. There's a plethora of options (service-minded) available elsewhere.

Worst branch to deal with. I’ve been a customer for a long time in multiple states and this is the first time I’ve had so many issues. They only have one banker so there are never appointments. And the rest of the staff are rude. I was trying to convince someone to switch over 6 months ago. Never managed to get an appointment and now I’m embarrassed to have even suggested it. Even the ATMs don’t always work. The online/app appointment scheduler doesn’t work for this branch either. Avoid wells fargo in the midwest

Have been banking with Wells Fargo for decades. There were WF everywhere in California. Unfortunately, there are only two locations here in Wichita, and I've never had trouble with either of them in the past. However, just seems like employees are only able to do so much these days. They want you to do as much online or on the 800 number as possible. They've been nothing but nice and friendly, but it's really a bummer when you want to go in and take care of a bunch of things at once, and they're always recommending you do it online. Still very Covid strict.

I know that Wells Fargo has had some bad PR recently, but I would just like to say that I feel like they are really trying to turn their customer service around. I do not bank with them, but work with them on occasion. The staff at this location is very friendly and welcoming. They always make it a point to try and strike up a fun conversation with me. They have never once tried to push me to bank with them. I appreciate the quality of service they offer me every time I visit.

If I could give a zero star - I would. My experience will address both a non-sense corporate policy, but also a team of people who cannot unfetter themselves from their smug lack of customer service. The staff endeavor to find reasons to be able to stand at the counter and not find solutions. Instead of finding a way to rise above, they huddle together and scour for excuses! Outrageous! The policy: if you want to deposit cash into their customers’ personal account, the BANK will refuse to accept cash. I run a company, installed a solar power system for a client. My client covered an expense. I went to Wells Fargo to repay my client - Wells Fargo refused the deposit. The stated reason is that it could be fraudulent? I would love to see the statistics that demonstrate a corporation going to a bank with cash and depositing into a clients account? I have a great memory - It was Wells Fargo who was fraudulent to their own members creating unfrequented credit card accounts.
