Wells Fargo Bank Main St, Los Altos

I am not happy yesterday 11/2 Friday morning when I found out that my 2 large Payroll checks I deposited in person/approved by the mangers on 10/30 were put on Hold (nobody told me it’s going to take at least 7-9 days to be released). This is unacceptable because the checks I deposited had already been paid electronically by my NFCU yet the Wells Fargo 800 customer service Line I called for help first to complain can’t release the Hold. One of the online banking agents told me to go to the branch I made the deposit who is the only place who can release the Hold and reverse all the Fees they charged me, she said. Result? The nice bank service manager Jeri I met yesterday at the bank could not change anything about my issue but she told me she will try again today. She is busy with another customer when I called her today. As I write this review, I am hoping she can! It’s now 2:13 pm 11/3/18

Terrible customer service. I went to a different branch to buy foreign currency and was told the Main St branch had the euros waiting and they advised I would be coming. Showed up at Main St and was told the only person who could do foreign exchange was in lunch. The tellers were very rude and offered no assistance. Seriously disappointed. This is my final straw with Wells Fargo. Will be closing my accounts.

I'm not sure what bank doesn't have a 24/7 phone number. Trying to see if a check I got from their bank is fraud or not

Went from having horrible ATMs to some of the best. I can finally deposit 20 to 30 checks at a time without having the ATM choke and vomit out crumpled checks and having to revert to depositing a check at a time. NFC connectivity at the ATM also means you don't have to carry your card, just your mobile phone. From 2017: Utterly horrible ATM's cannot accept more than one or two checks at a time let alone the thirty the machines claim.

By the reviews it seems like others have had disappointing visits here but from my experience I don't understand the hate. I've been here multiple times for currency exchanges and everyone who helped me was great. Convenient ATM outside if you are frequently in downtown Mountain View too. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the good work. :)
