Been banking here for quite a few years now. I've always had great customer service from very professional employees. Great customer support, and advice, especially from Ms. Tanona Antone. I had the pleasure today of meeting Ms. Marvina Pete, bank manager. She was very helpful in helping me with some of my banking needs. Very professional! I look forward to working with her in the future. I know that I made the correct decision in bringing my business to WaFd Bank. Thank you.

My husband and I had an excellent experience with Washington Federal while looking for a local bank.  We were in the process of buying a home when our Arizona bank unexpectedly couldn't finance an out of state property.  I must have called 10 places before getting a return call from Kathy M. at the Gallup branch of Washington Federal.  By the end of that first phone call I knew that I wanted Kathy to be our loan agent.  Kathy was knowledgeable, patient, and detail-oriented; and was always accessible by phone or email.  We also worked closely with Gwyn H., who knew the home buying process inside and out.  Gwyn was able to proactively address some of the issues associated with transferring documentation from another bank, found ways to help us save money on closing costs, and even linked us to reputable outside vendors.  We found Washington Federal to be large enough to offer every service we wanted or needed, but small enough to provide personalized service.  One thing (among many) that we really liked about WAFD is that they don't re-sell mortgages.  This gives WAFD more flexible financing options, and also made us feel more comfortable with the continuity of our financial services.  The branch hours are normal banking hours, which I understand can be difficult for people working out of town.  However, there is a 24 hour drive-up ATM, and on multiple occasions Gwyn and Kathy opened early or stayed open late to accommodate our schedules.  We are very, very pleased with our new bank.

They don't switch there answering machine off when they OPEN. I've been calling for an urgent matter and no answer.

Not open on weekends, not open late. Some of us work distance out.
