Pete did my refinance back in January. It was an incredibly smooth transaction from start to finish. Truly no negative feedback. I did a cash out option that allowed me to consolidate some debt as well as have money to put value back into my home. I am very happy with the outcome and how it has simplified my monthly expenses. Recently we refinanced with Pete Metz at Von Mortgage/ Celebrity. They sold our loan to PHH Mortgage Services before our first payment was due. PHH parent company is Ocwen I believe. In July 2018 Ocwen settled with the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) and was forced to pay a $225 million settlement to its customers for bad mortgage services practices. Why is Von Mortgage/ Celebrity selling loans to this company?
