We have purchased several homes over the years and our experience with Veterans United was the best by far. Everyone on their team is a subject matter expert and completely transparent about their part of the process. We also loved their homebuyers dashboard where we could upload documents and check things off of our to-do list as they came up. Communications were top notch and we were never left wondering where we stood in the process. If we emailed or texted anyone on the team, they responded promptly; something that can not be said for big banks and credit unions. They have our highest recommendation and we would happily use them again.

A fantastic team. You couldn't be in better hands. From start to finish, they help keep everyone on track and are your biggest advocates throughout the house-hunting process. My only complaint, and this is a personal preference more than anything, is the rather large team which adds to the high volume of e-mails and phone calls you might get while looking for that ideal home. However, VU was very accommodating and patient - understanding how homebuyers can be overwhelmed at times. They didn't push but were willing to roll their sleeves up when warranted. There were a few times where James Walrod would contact the seller agents direct and advocate for us, which is invaluable in today's highly competitive and insane housing market. Highly recommend.

Would you like to be pre approved one month then fully approved the next month only to find out days before closing that they made a mistake on their end so you are denied even though you’ve already cancelled your lease and then they forward your mail for you to the address they denied you for weeks after denying you? Literally the worst! They set us up with a real estate agent that would only let us meet her husband and ignored us most of the two months we were looking for a house.

I was able to get approved for my dream home. The process was easy. I was approved with a reasonable interest rate in these economically challenging time (interest rate raising).would recommend in this economy.

As first time home buyers I don’t think it gets any better than Veteran’s United. Our loan officer Billy Chard and his team were amazing. We had no clue what to do we just knew we wanted to stop renting and get a home we could afford in a nice neighborhood. The process was really easy from beginning to end. We started the prequalifying process in November we were done and closed in December. We had a couple of hiccups with things on our credit K.D Bartley told us exactly what to do. She did soft pulls on our credit and as soon as we we qualified the ball was rolling. They helped us find a realtor and we found the perfect home for our family. The whole process took a month and a half we closed on 12/21/21. You won’t feel blindsided by anything as long as you read your contract. If there’s anything you don’t understand your team will assist you.

Who says VA loans take forever? Not at Veterans United - my incredibly efficient team got me to close in under 30 days! But, what really impressed me was how every single person from Veterans United was incredibly caring and kind. Veterans United truly values vets and it shows. Not only did the Veterans United team do their jobs with excellence, but they added the human touch that most companies lack.
