We did not have a good experience at all. The person we dealt with was very nice, but didn’t return calls when she said she would. We were turned down for reasons we didn’t understand and were not adequately explained. We went to another lender and were approved right away. When we picked up the paperwork to give it to the new lender, it was all mixed up. It took forever to straighten out. Go somewhere else for your loan!

Our experience with Veterans First was excellent. Our loan officer James Altman was very helpful and polite. He responded to all of our emails and phone calls promptly and made every step very clear. It was a pleasure working with him. We recommend his services to anyone.

Military families do not do business with this lender.

The reason I rate this company a one star is because their are no zeros! They tell you one thing and when the paper work arrives it is completely different. My agents name was Tyler. When confronted he denied saying all things he said. I really wish it were possible to Sue them for all of my wasted time and efforts. RUN RUN. RUN

Lack of Communication and Misinformation... My lender stopped working there in the middle of my refinance process, I was not notified. My lender told me not to make a payment to my previous lender but then I incurred late fees for not paying. When I reached out to Veterans First, I was told to reach out to previous lender to figure it out.
