I am well pleased banking here. The location is very handy and do my banking and shopping at HyVee! The employees do a great job with providing great service!

This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Good luck getting checks, you will have to wait 6 months. Balances take forever to update online, and checks take forever to clear. When we just had a reloadable debit, my husband got his checks at midnight the day before his payday. Now he has to wait until the day after his payday to get paid. When we complained, they tried to blame it on his work. They also hold checks for unwarranted amounts of time. We deposited a personal check and were told there was a two day hold. First of all, I have never had a personal check held with any other bank. Now it has been 4 days and they are still holding the check. When I called to find out why, they claim that it is now a 4 day hold and that the day we deposited it does not count. Their customer service is rude and unhelpful. They don't care if you have urgent bills that need paying. They don't care if multiple tellers have given you the wrong information. Their customer service is pitiful, and their condescending apologies when they mess up are even worse. We are pulling all of our accounts with them. I would not recommend anyone banking with them, unless you like being treated like an inconvenience.

I had an account with Veridian which was my secondary account - used for savings/emergency funds/vacation planning etc. This was not for my day - to - day use. I went through a stint where I lost my job so I wasn't depositing on a regular basis. So once I was off unemployment and back in the workforce - I tried to login to just see where my balance was, only I wasn't able to login. When I called customer service asking to reset my password I was told I don't have an account with them. I said that was weird, because I did, I have the card, checks and account number to prove it. They said they had closed my account due to inactivity. I received no communication that this was happening nor did I receive a check for the funds I had in the bank. When I asked about my funds - they said they absorbed them into the bank as "account maintenance fees". I would NOT recommend this bank at all.

I switched to Veridian a few years ago after banking a couple other places, and it was the best decision I ever made. They have never done anything but go out of their way to help me with my banking needs!

Been a customer for a few years and I do not regret switching from my old CCU. Much more responsive and are open at far more convenient hours

Very helpful staff, knowledgeable and FAST. They helped me get something notorized *and* referred me to a medallion stamp employee with absolutely no hassle. The public can be unaware of social norms and Verifiable CU 1st Ave employees respond to (rudeness of) unaware folks with professionality and kindness that was nothing short of impressive. I cannot count the great experiences I've had at this branch.

Wow, have never had a problem walking into a bank or credit union to open an IRA. Today in Iowa City, it was different. My son walked into Veridian and they said they couldn't do it. Evidently you have to set up an appt to watch someone talking in Waterloo. Appt times 9-3, Mon-Fri. No Saturdays. My son works so no chance of getting off for that. Times are changing. I guess they don't need the business.

Went in to talk with someone about my house payment. While the teller I was working with was pulling up my acount some other teller had been listening in to our conversation and started talking to me like she was part of the conversation. She was very rude and unlprofeasuonal and I will be leaving and refinancing with another institution

Absolutely No privacy and no waiting area. Hy-Vee exit walk way goes right through where you are supposed to wait?

Veridian help very much self you have a bad credit he's help you. I'm very happy with this service . I have one urgency so he's make me happy 😌😌😌
