    Jon C was amazing. He was very responsive to emails and set up an appointment immediately to me with me to get me out of my lease. He also worked with my husband to get a new truck! We were very pleased with his patience and willing to go to bat for us to walk out with two new vehicles. Woody was also great serving as the business manager and getting us extended warranties, great interest rates, etc.

    Marco & Chase were exceptional. I hate the process of buying a vehicle, specifically the need to "meet my manager" & the upsell tactics. I walked in ready to write a check for a Yukon Denali, then a Sierra Denali... When I was told both were unavailable I said "What is the fattest thing you have on the lot?" Marco took a copy of license and had the paperwork wrote up immediately. All in all it was the second or third fastest experience buying a car. I am quite satisfied. Today Chase called me to check in on some of the extras that I had ordered and he went above and beyond with his willingness to continue to research new extras I had in mind. Not all salesmen's will continue to show interest in a customer after the sale, but great ones will. You have a couple of great salesmen!

    Overall aweful experiance from start to finish. Booked online and wrote exactly what was going on service writer changed what was said. Called the next day to let us know that we could come get it and nothing was wrong, so we had to drive up an hour to take a tech for a ride because we had it to them 3 times prior with that same out come. Not even a 5 minute ride and the tech could tell we had a bad torque converter. They then had the car for another week told is it would be ready Thursday or Friday drove up Friday because we got told it would be done by 5 and they would be calling we waited and nobody called so we had to come back ip Saturday morning to get it. Once we got it home we noticed the key ring was missing our house.keys so we called back to see if they had them and nobody called us back about that. I popped the hood the following week and noticed that they also never put the engine cover back on the vehicle so we had to drive back to Bangor to pick this part up. We will never be using this shop again.

    These guys are awesome! Very friendly and accommodating! I have had my two vehicles serviced here and will continue to do so because of the people I have interacted with during my visits! Price was reasonable and when you factor in the records of your service are kept on file with them it makes it priceless when considering warranty work!

    To say my experience buying a vehicle at Varneys was extraordinary, would be an understatement. I showed up with a general idea of what I wanted but had no intent of buying a vehicle that day and probably wouldn’t happen for another few months, just wanted to come try out an suv and see if it was really what I wanted. Got set up with Steve Neal, got a value on my trade in that I couldn’t turn down and started the financing on a new SUV. Steve was absolutely phenomenal to work with, along with the gentleman in the finance department that got me approved and helped me with all the paperwork. I walked into Varneys at 3:15pm and had the keys in hand by 4:30pm. Under an hour and a half!! The fastest I have ever been in and out of a dealership before. Also, a huge thank you to Tim Verrill and the whole service department for doing such great work on my vehicle with some upgrades. Thank you Varney GMC for making my first brand new vehicle purchase smooth, easy, and fast!! You folks have earned my business! If you’re in the market for a vehicle, go see the team at Varneys! You won’t be disappointed!

    I am 51 years old and have bought at least 2 dozen vehicles (probably more) in my life. This was the most pleasurable buying experience I have ever had. Steve is the 1st salesman who did not sell me a car; he helped me buy one! I truly have never felt that way a single time before dealing with Steve. I will be back and will tell everyone I come in contact with who is looking for a car. Great job Steve and Varney's. I will also mention that Woody was professional and good to deal with as well.

    First time in to Varney's 3 Saturdays ago, i looked at 2 trucks, had someone take a look at my trade in, the salesman was going to email me some quotes. I had to leave at 11:30am that morning to make an appt. I gave both email, and cell phone to him, we wrote down on his lead card. And said he would be in touch... Never heard back.... No email, no voicemails. I've just sold my truck private sale and ready buy again. Hope this doesn't happen often.. Update... received a call from manager within 2hrs of this review. He apologized for mixup and was very responsive to helping me... thks for followup.

    Great business and great people. They offered fair prices during extremely challenging times to get a vehicle (some places were often charging 5-10% OVER MSRP). They had a very easy and carefree process. I highly recommend them to any one in the market for a vehicle!

    dropped the Acadia off to have warranty work taken care of. they took me to my house and called when work was completed. then sent the shuttle to take me to the shop to pick up vehicle. good job and service . John took very care of us. thank you

    If it was to Buy a vehicle I would definitely recommend Varney's... As far as the service department, I would highly recommend seeking service else where. They seemed to not be interested in checking my vehicle over to see what was wrong with it. they asked me two ?'s. #1 did a check engine light come on? #2 is it in auto 4WD? then they tried to sell me tires and said that they would not look at my truck until it had new tires, so that they could be sure that the tires weren't the issue.... LMAO.. i have a bad CV shaft , wheel bearing and need shocks in rear and 1 strut in front. but they said there was nothing they could see that was wrong. Well besides the tires...they seem to pick and choose what they want to work on... i spent 30,000 at varney Buick GMC so i thought i would be treated like a loyal customer.... that wasn't the case

    My service advisor, John, was really helpful in keeping me informed while my truck was towed and in repair for transmission failure. He helped me get a loaner vehicle during this time and also ensured my regular service (oil change, etc) was also taken care of. He and the whole team did a great job!!

    John was so accommodating for us. We live 2 hours north and we were about to fly out of town for a week. We dropped our vehicle off on Monday to be repaired and our vehicle was brought to the short term parking at the airport on the day of our return.

    I waited 4 HOURS even though I had an appointment to change a part for the THIRD TIME, and it should have taken 40 minutes. I was also refused an inspection sticker. YOU had to test drive my truck. The brakes didn't grind, or squeal or was a dash light on, but I was told "they need to be replaced". I took the truck to an auto shop and they put a sticker on it and this was a week later. YOUR Dealership made me feel browbeaten and bullied.

    Taking my car to Varney is always a positive experience. I really appreciate the fact that the service guys know who I am, always listen to my issues with the car, and always fix it perfectly. I normally deal with John, who is always professional and kind. I will continue to buy cars (if they ever really sell them again!) from Varney because I like the service department so much!

    They drove my truck and said they couldnt duplicate concern. Happens quite quickly when taking off. The safe driving alert notified that the majority of their test drive was in excess of 80mph, well above posted speed limits. I had purchased the truck 4 days prior to dropping it off because it was barely driveable, but they couldn’t find anything wrong. I took the truck and fixed it myself after not having it for a week. Shouldn’t be fixing a vehicle myself I purchased a week ago but it is what it is.

    We bought a used car from Varney's Bangor location July 3, 2017 and had serious issues with it in less then a day. We tried getting them to take it back next business day before any of the papper work had even been sent out( to Augusta) we were told they don't do returns and there is no lemon law on used cars. It has been a year as of July 3, 2018 they have had the car more then my mother and they still can't get it to run correctly. The check engine light will not stay off. They have replaced the transmission clutch pack, motor, complete exhaust including catalytic converter and manifold. She even took it to them for a sticker when it expired and they refused to sticker it over the issue they can't seem to fix and told her flat out it should not have had the sticker it was sold with but it wasn't there issue because there Newport location put the sticker on. So she took it to the Newport location where(where she is required to take it every time it has an issue because the won't service it in Bangor where she purchased it because it is a Ford not a General Motors product) they put a sticker on( they felt bad because she is low income, elderly and will be paying on the car four more years).
