Valu + Pawn W Walnut St, Garland

Just picked up my tv today and set it up to see this. I pawned my tv last month in September…..no issues, never bumped or dropped it taking it to the pawnshop. Called the pawnshop and the guy on the phone just “assume” I bumped it or dropped it on my way home. Dude, it’s a flatscreen I had this tv for two years. Pawned it multiple times and never had this issue. I was always careful of my belongings. Something told me to ask to have my tv turned on before I left that store. Literally it looks like a sharp object was struck at my tv while it was in they’re possession. If you want to have you’re belongings that you worked hard for, BROKEN! Just come here.

Have purchased many items here. Purchased a band after looking at two of them. Left the store and called back 15 minutes later identifying myself and asking if I could come in and switch the bands because I changed my mind. The man who answered asked someone and yes I could bring them back if I came right back. I drove right back and the sales girl I was dealing with told me I could not switch the bands unless they were the same price or more. I asked her why I was not told that when I called 15 minutes earlier and that based upon what I was told during that phone call that I drove back over. She smugly stated while laughing "well maybe he didn't know." Well if he didn't know then he should not be misinforming people and causing them to waste time and money driving back over. I took off the $450 dollar band I just purchased and set it on the counter. I wonder if the salesperson turned it into management and told them what occurred? I recorded the conversation in which I was told I could bring the band back and switch for the other band I was looking at. I will be filing a lawsuit against this store for the time and money they cost me in driving back to the store based upon what I was told by an employee of their establishment. Most of the sales people I have dealt with in this store are very professional but this particular sale person is extremely smug and unprofessional. This store has now lost a longtime customer who purchased MANY items there. Not that the particular salesperson would care, but upper management with actual customer service training or the business owners would probably feel different

This place always has great customer services, they were quick to help me while I was looking for a TV. I’ve bought several things from here watches, jewelry, tablets, beats headphones, love that they’re able to put things on layaway it’s always very convenient. I highly recommend this place.

They are always friendly and very helpful. They will do their best to get you what you need. I think they are AWESOME and I will go to them each time I need help.

Great costumer service! I have bought jewelry, tablets, and laptops and I always had a positive experience! The manager is very friendly and respectful, staff is welcoming and have been helpful the times I’ve been there. My husband has also purchased tools and had a positive experience as well. Very much recommend this place!
