Unheard of - Valero Title, Inc. mistakenly applied payoff funding for one of my refinanced property to another property. It seems that they are trying to fix the problem and I understand they have to work with the old lender but since 12.02.2021 a month has passed and still no one can tell me when funds&lien will be corrected. I have personally spent 30hours+ at least so far to follow up on this issue and has got company's president/vice president involved but looks like it's still not going to be resolved soon. Update 1.12.2022: PHH has transferred funds but not corrected the lien; Valero Title has helped to follow up with PHH mortgage but it's really hard to reach PHH. Valero title is also stepping in to help with the refinance on the property for which lien has released in mistake.

I’ve worked with Valero Title for a couple of years now and had great experiences. I’m a Realtor so Misty Alexander introduced me to the company and I primarily work with Kerry and Donna who both go above and beyond. Valero has great deals for buyers and sellers and are willing to do remote closings, they are very friendly and communicate well. 5 stars!

My refinancing broker hired Valero to do the title services on my recent refinancing application, and I truly wish I had shopped elsewhere to get it done. I wish I gave no stars, but that would not be fair to Ryann who did a great job closing the funding! On July 15, 2020, Keri Gaines (Valero) was asked to provide an updated title commitment and there started a nightmare of an experience waiting for her to submit that document - the next 30 days!! Every time my broker or I (chiming in) requested this 1-pg document to be released, the answer was the same - "...am on it (smiley face)..", "...I will prepare right this moment..." I'm truly disappointed with the lack of integrity and professional customer service by Keri, unduly delaying the refinancing process and added stress that already comes with it. Ryann followed up promising to do better when this issue was brought up. If you are dealing with Valero, stay clear of Keri Gaines!

Valero Title is one of the best title companies to work with. Excellent customer service, fast closings, around the clock paperwork requests. I’ve always had a great experience, they never let me down!!! Oh, and Lower fees in the industry, my clients love me for that.

I have had the opportunity to work with Valero Title with multiple transactions in multiple cities, bringing clients and twice being one. Mobile closing and no junk fees are a dream come true in this business. I’m glad to see Marie as a Business Development Executive in their Dallas office. Customer Service and quick response is a hallmark of this team.

Have been working with and referring clients to Valero for years. Have always had smooth closings. Keri Gaines and Misty Alexander always go above and beyond to ensure that our clients are well served. On top of all that their fee structure is lower than other Title Companies. Premium service and value at a reasonable price, that's hard to beat!

I have been using Valero title for several of the homes I have closed. I interact with dallas office and they are truly awesome ! Will not hesitate to recommend them .

Update: Representative reached out about below review I explained the situation and promised she calls back realizing they messed it. But she never called. The staffs in this office behaves similarily: neglect your simple request and go back and forth, unorganized and make multiple mistakes with the paper works, dont care about customer requests. May be their work culture. The supervisor and the OWNER still didnt respond to my complaints in the email, not easy to get their number and talk to them! I am considering some options to get my money back. ************ I have refinanced last month and unfortunately the title company the lender chose was Valero Title. I have never faced such a customer service in my life. Working with them is stressful and frustrating! They were not able to meet pay off date not once but twice although they received the closing costs way ahead of time. As a result I paid interests 7 days to both lenders. Requested for refund and they were not able to give me proper response, all LIES. We communicate in emails as they dont give their numbers, when they call you, the hide their caller ids, private number it comes in. In email response for clear question, they particularly Keri, say "Will call you shortly", "bear with me for today", " didnt meant to keep you waiting", but in reality the opposite happens, I have never received a call after they received my money, those words were each time when I reach out through email. Even for confirmation if they have received closing costs I transferred, I have to follow up a couple of times. Sent email to the owner forwarding all the conversation to the owner, I didnt get response. The phone numbers put here are generic fake, prompts like other numbers of theirs. Fighting to get my money back... will update.
