We absolutely loved our entire experience with VA Cars! Ronald was our salesperson, Fernando was our finance man, and there was one other man (I can’t remember his name, I’m sorry!) at the front desk who was absolutely amazing and got us a ridiculously good rate. The 3 of them were super helpful, kind, and definitely know their stuff. We walked in super stressed from another dealership down the road and VA Cars relieved all of those stressors. Go here for all your car buying needs, we highly recommend!

My ex husband and I have delt with vacars ( Fernando, Dave and Harry) since they first came to Hopewell. They have always treated us like family from day 1. After 3+ years of personal extremely tough circumstances ( some they actually knew) I was so hesitant but knew I had to get another vehicle. Honestly went in with my tail between my legs because of my situation. But as soon as I walked in Dave greeted me like the family they are and immediately got Fernando to help me out. And as usual, Fernando helped me out and made it happen. Unfortunately Harry was off that day, but these three are the dream team. No matter what your situation, if they can't do it, no one can. Thank you guy's and vacars for making a sticky situation ( I thought) into a pleasant, easy experience.

Went in twice to try and get a car, the sale's Matt was awesome and I really wished I was able to get a car with him. He tried everything in his power in order to get me a car and really listened to what i wanted. But I couldn't say that about both his higher ups which names i couldn't remember , the first day i was told by one of the higher ups that he found a car in my price range and i saw the offer it was nowhere near my price. And was made seemed that i needed a co-signer i come back a day or so later with my co-signer and wasn't really told if having a co-signer really helped out now. His second higher up which I'm assuming is either the GM or AGM was not of help either and wasn't really listening to what i was requesting and didn't really answer my questions and tried to sell me a car i could barely fit in. Ended up getting a car for my price range and the one of the models i was open to have somewhere else. Again if it weren't for Matt I would have given this rating a 0 stars if i could.

I have never had A one service from a used dealership before. Fernando was so professional and patient with me, he answered and explained all my questions. He made sure i got a fair deal plus his main concern was my satisfaction. I really and truly appreciated his honesty. As a woman not really knowing a lot about cars, he treated me well and did not try to take advantage of the situation. My sales person Folando Salmon and his mgr were absolutely the best to work with. I’ve had a horrific past 3 years which caused my credit to decline from upper 700s to lower 440s (most wouldn’t share this) and Mr Salmon fought for my loan like no other. I’d been to other larger dealers with second chance programs who I know did not put the effort in to getting me financed and gave up. But Mr Salmon and Va Cars went above and beyond in so many ways. The respect earned is much more appreciated and profound because of this for me and the fact that I didn’t have to put allot of money down really sealed the deal for me. I will definitely be back and will encourage anyone going through a rough time credit wise and looking for a reliable vehicle, give VA Cars a chance to earn your business and if your lucky enough, you’ll get the opportunity to receive the Folando Salmon experience bc this guy is beyond great!! I purchased my second car from VA Cars in August 2021. First before I give the bad point or points, let me give kudos to everyone at the Hopewell location except for Adam. He has a very nasty attitude. If I had to buy another car from them or recommend, I would not recommend Adam. He needs to learn how to talk to people and he tries to be a fast talker. I would have given 5 stars but because of one person I’m given a 3!!

Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and the consistent runaround with this dealership regarding their services. I brought a vehicle from them 4 months ago. My 2019 vehicle has had more issues than any other vehicle I’ve ever had before. My brakes were worn down not even 2 weeks after I brought the vehicle. (No exaggeration) Now, I’m having engine sensor issues which feels like my engine is trying to lock up on me. Here’s the kicker, I work from home so I’m not even driving my vehicle as much as I should. I do NOT recommend! From here on out, I rather purchase previously owned vehicles from the owners themselves. On a positive note, Dena is the absolute sweetest throughout all of this.
