So 13 days after purchasing a vehicle from VA cars it was totaled. I then was put in a Jeep I didn't like and had issues. A month and a half later after talking with Jonah he had Kenneth call me . Kenneth not only helped keep me clean and sober as I am a recovering addict but he did everything possible to put me in the same vehicle I totaled . Any concern I asked he was willing and able to answer it and I love my car!!!!Update 8/23/2021- been having an issue with my tires since I test drove the car they haven’t fixed it completely I have to keep calling them to get the issue fixed and on top of that I don’t live in Richmond so I’m burning gas every trip I take. They say they’re going to order the tire and I call back 2 days later nothing is ordered. I told them the issue with the car when I got it and was promised it’ll be fixed I brought my car 7/30 it’s almost a month and I’m still dealing with my tires being messed up… oh and to top that off they haven’t sent my payoff amount yet meaning I’m about to make 2 car payments when I told them already they stated “they were sending it off that day” I call the bank a week later still no pay off payment🤬

Cam was the best! When I tell you he went above & beyond to make sure my daughter got into the car that she wanted and at the price she wanted to pay a month. He is beyond the best salesperson I’ve ever met, very passionate about making sure his customers are satisfied and happy. Everyone at Midlothian vacars were awesome! Highly recommended

Updating 5 months later Nov. 16th 2021. For the sale I gave it 5 stars, but the after sales with me were terrible, 1 - Several messages I needed to send to the seller and he didn't even reply. 2 - I bought 2 cars, the temporary tags expired with 30 days, I stayed another 15 days to get other temporary tags and I still only managed it because I stopped at the VA on Broad St which is close to my house. 3 - It took almost 80 days to pay off my Payoff, I had to pay 2 months for my car that wasn't even with me. Several times I went to the store, called. They said that I would not be harmed. as it took them almost 80 days to pay, of course all financing has interest, so the bank expelled only part of it, of course it didn't expel the interest. I went to the store they say it has nothing to do with it and I am at a loss of almost $400. It's better to ask and check before the exchange time so you don't have a loss like me.

Horrible place to do business shady people. Horrible experience. Said they were gonna fix dents and paint and have now reneged on that.

I kept going back and forth on if I should trade my 2016 Hyundai Elantra in that I got from Va Cars a little over 2 years ago for a bigger vehicle. But today I decided to turn her in. DK was GREAT!! Wonderful customer service was given. He was able to get me into a 2019 Dodge Journey with LESS mileage. I love it!! Thank you sooo much!!!!

Let me begin by saying the VA Cars in Henrico is located in an easy to access location. Inside and out the building is brightly colored and simply a fun place to be for a car purchase. The staff is friendly and understand that buying a car should be an easy and smooth process. Many dealerships tout no hassle pricing as a way to discourage negotiation. After much research we found VA Cars was extremely well priced and the price deserved little haggling. Our salesman, Sean, was phenomenal. From first contact he was all smiles. By the time the purchase was complete we felt like Sean was a family friend and shared equal amounts of joy. Sean and the team at VA Cars deserve your business.

Bought car took it back a week later car kept cutting off. Was told it was the alternator. I had to pay half the price. It kept cutting off again, he said I needed a new battery. Went and bought a battery. Still cut off. I took it to another dealer to get it checked out. Low and behold the alternator wasn't hooked up correctly. They would not refund me for their mistake.

They sold me a car that was not cleaned before they sold it to me and had problems. They said they were going to clean and fix the problem. They never cleaned and the had they had my vehicle for two day fix some of the problems but didn’t fix them all. Took it it back said they couldn’t figure it out then send it to a transmission shop that had it for two weeks and still couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. Then the manager told me to drive it until the wheels fall of then they will fix it. I have two baby and I try to tell him this I can have a vehicle and I can’t trust and he yelled at me and said there nothing he will do. By the way I had the vehicle for three weeks at this time and they had it the most time in the three weeks. I will never buy a car from them again. They don’t know what there do or how to treat a customer.

My son looked at a car on the lot February 21 with his father a Hyundai Elantra. They pointed out some issues with the vehicle..brakes, odometer, front bumper, head rest, and scratches down the side of the car. The dealer stated the would repair, brakes, odometer, bumper, and head rest. In the meantime my son continue to search for a vehicle and found a better one elsewhere. When he notified VA CARS..the salesman was rude stated because they had the repairs done he was still obligated to purchase the vehicle. Also tired to get him to leave the check he had from the bank. Stated he needs to pay for the repairs since he didn't purchase their vehicle and refused to give his deposit back. Worse service ever DO NOT USE this dealership. WE WILL BE CONTACTING BBB. A customer has a right to change their mind especially since vehicle was not delivered.

Customer Service is less than par. I received a call from Katie and did an application over the phone ( I had advised that I had an appointment with Jessica this coming Saturday, she advised she could still do the application) she told me she would call me back in 5 mins... never received a call back that day. Called twice today to speak with her and got her voice mail. Called again and spoke with someone and he gave me the results. I asked why Katie was unable to return my call and give me the information. He said she is very busy with other customers. WOW... What am I? I had your attention when you wanted to do an application. Customer Sevice should extend to all transactions weather approved, not approves or no longer interest.

Experience here was awesome. Antonio was very helpful in getting us into a vehicle within our budget. Would recommend anyone interested in getting a vehicle to come here.

Jaime! Jaime! JAIME!! I hope I’m spelling the name right but the manager of the service center makes the ENTIRE experience worth it. My engine has locked up and it’s taking awhile to get done, Jaime has been MORE than considerate, keeping me consistently updated, even moving my name to the top of the loaner car list because I’ve been waiting so long. TOP NOTCH service 🙏🏾

My salesman Jamie sold me a lemon and VA cars is responsible for selling bad cars to customers and not giving them an option to fix it but will take your money and run! And Jonah is the owner and does not keep his promises to fix people cars they are bad bad people buyers beware. They let my warranty expire and let my car sit for two months and then tell me they won’t fix it! They let people cars sit and act like it’s being worked on and it’s not. They didn’t have any rental cars to give their customers because something is wrong with all the cars that’s why they only have two loner cars so you won’t have one. I am a single and I got robbed and stuck with a loan and no car!!!! Jonah only wanna help people he wanna help others not so much when you should want to help all people I fed up and they need to be shut down. This is the WORST THE WORST PLACE TO BUY A CAR!!! BUYERS BEWARE 2012 Hyundai Sonata these people can not be trusted at all. They don’t have any integrity. Shame the take ADVANTAGE OF INNOCENT PEOPLE FOR THEYRE HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!!!

Very bad experience when took truck for inspection and oil change. Now having issues with truck. I’m assuming because I didn’t get Va cars to do the work something was done and now the truck is not driving the same. This will be the last vehicle purchased from them.

DK broke everything down for me and made the process simple. I’m coming back for sure. He went and beyond to help me and even gave me a set of steps to follow to get the car I wanted. He talked to me about my budget and helped me pick something that was extremely nice and still in my price range. R.J helped me with purchasing my very first new vehicle. He made the transition smooth. He helped me with any questions I had, I didn’t feel like I was being pushed or just being sold a vehicle too. I felt I was talking to a friend who had my best interest at heart than a sales representative. He made sure I got what I was looking for and even more! The car needs the bumper replaced and minor damage to the front, so I am currently waiting for this to take place and the manager Jonah has helped me with that and been very knowledgeable and respectful, only reason I’ve given 4 stars because it hasn’t been fixed yet. They did fix my tire and replaced it with a brand new one. They said it would all be taken care of and I believe that! Everyone here is great and the cars are in great shape! I’d recommend.
