I'd give zero stars if possible. Avoid this company at all costs. Customer service is terrible, and seems to be outsourced to a third party in India. They raised my premium 6-fold, so I cancelled the policy to a rep (in India) and with a followup letter. The still withdrew the new premium from my account. I again contacted them, they acknowledged the error, and promised a refund within 15 days. It never arrived. I called again, and they again acknowledged the error, and I was told a supervisor would contact me within 5 days to process the refund check. No one ever called, and the refund never arrived. Now have filed complaint with Better Business Bureau to try and move this forward. Do yourself a favor - get whatever services you are looking for elsewhere from a company that actually values, and doesn't take money unauthorized from, their customers.

These ppl are biggest crooks! They cheated my Mom out of a 50,000 policy, that she's had for over 30 years! Sent them large amounts of money, only for them to keep saying send more! I even started having all the payments sent certified! They kept lying saying they didn't get them! And kept giving us large amounts to send them if we wanted to keep the account active! We were so sick of the lies, every call I made, I could barely understand them, and they would all give us different amounts to send! We suffered a huge loss behind this horrible company!! Wonder how many others they've done this way!😩

Horrible customer service. I have been with them for nearly 20years and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I am supposed to get premium notice quarterly but get two bills with different due dates. And most annoying - late payment due notice after the bill has been paid already! I have written letters and called several times to get this problem fixed but no change. Just pathetic..

I manage the estate of a relative who had an annuity through US Financial. I needed the basis of my relative's cost and called US Financial for assistance. They had acquired the annuity from another company, so they were useless. I believe and said so that they had a responsibility to help me track down that information through their records, but they refused to lift a finger. After the product is purchased, these companies have a duty to service them, but US Financial would not be bothered by that.

My wife and her sister lost their father on February 3rd 2021 they sent all documentation 3 different times even sent the return receipt . They have been told several times the check for his life insurance was sent out but here we are on nov.17th 2021 still no check. They do not care about your loss they obviously just do not want to payout . We had no coverage for his estate or funeral and they still do not care. We filed a complaint with the new jersey banking and insurance commission. We are no having to go get an attorney on this to sue for payment . I advise anyone thinking of doing business with them or who are currently to look toward other companies. This one will only take your money and not pay out .

My father had a policy with US Financial for many years before his death last summer. US Financial was the most upsetting company we had to deal with through the process. They finally paid the policy but here's what it took: 1. Filing a formal complaint with my State Board of Insurance 2. Finding the board members on their site at HeritageLi.com 3. Finding a class action attorney who successfully (and recently) won a large settlement for $38M against this company. 4. Communicating my plan to continue pursuing this matter through all channels necessary. After all that, they paid promptly and we did not go to court. I encourage you to look at your state's complaint record for U.S. Financial. In Texas, their complaint record is the worst my agent had ever seen.

The worst company to deal. husband passed in September filed claim in October and still fighting with them. All I ever talk to is foreign call center. Call backs promised but never return call. It is too mucchof a claim to write off but boy the aggravation is relly making me work for it. Don't ever deal with these folks they are. rip off.

I received a letter today 5-3-22 that my insurance policy premium is going up from $78.00 to $565.68 at the end of the month. The only telephone number listed on the letter and on your website is an automated robot and will only let me talk to someone with Colonial Penn, who then tells me I have to do the auotmated service who has disconnected me twice. Does no one want to let me talk to a human.

I've had a policy on my wife since 2005 and lost her in October 14,2021 The funeral home sent all required documents right away. It is 12/30/2121 and I have not received any money! I have called several times and they say they haven't received any documents or say They received them on different dates. Run don't walk away from this company.

I've had a policy with this company for years, first time I ever encountered an issue. When I needed to contact them, I saw horrible reviews and was worried but I had no problems at all. They sorted my issue right out.
