I just had a really nice experience with Uptown Pawn! After getting quotes on a gold necklace at 5 places, I came back here to sell it to them because they had the 2nd best price. (The best price was only $5 more and a much further drive away) The nice guy at Uptown Pawn asked me if I wouldn't mind sharing the other quotes I received at the other 4 places. When I told him, he said he would match the best price plus he gave me an additional $5! He was a very pleasant guy and said he would just appreciate future business and asked me if I would give him a good online review. I am doing that because they certainly deserve it!!

Came in to look at a camera they had advertised. It sold just before we got there. The owner found another camera like the one we went in for, and gave us a great deal on it. Very nice people to deal with. Will most definitely be returning in the future.

The staff at this location are amazing, I had a pawn there and when I wanted to pick my pawn up, the COVID quarantine hit, even though they were closed for two weeks and opened back up, the owner was so nice that not only did he not charge me any additional interest during the closure and an additional two weeks they were open that I did not know they were open for, but he gave me a discounted price and over 150.00 off of what I should have paid. The owner made a lot of accommodations for me and I am extremely grateful!

Purchased a ring from them online. Wow! The ring was of the best quality and the price was amazing. Couldn't ask for anything more. Timely shipping and courteous service. Good to know they'll ship to California. One has to be competitive in this market, and these guys succeed!

Wow, Wow, Wow. This place is straight up honest. They have very clean inventory. They have very cool stuff. They have one hell of a sneaker collection that continues to grow. And they have a great family type vibe. I'll go into more detail below. But, to give you an idea about their loyalty and honesty and level of trust, as soon as I made them aware that I was very interested in an item I found online that they had posted, they immediately took it offline so nobody else could get it before me. And, this was an item I know would have sold quickly. It was a commercial grade Husqvarna Backpack Leaf Blower 570BTS. Fall has hit, leaves are falling, and this item is in demand RIGHT NOW. It's been about 10 years since I bought my first house. At the time, I was nervous about how I would manage the snow removal. I stopped into Uptown Pawn and found a used snow blower that fit my extremely thin budget. I remember the owner assuring me it would work great and he even offered me a three day return policy. I took it home, added fresh gas, and it started right up. I think the snowblower had to be about 10 years old at the time I bought it. Well, here we are 10 years later, and I am still using the same snowblower to clear my driveway. Fast forward to this week. I stopped into a competing pawn shop near my office that had a going out of business sale happening. I didn't really need anything, but I am always hunting for a good deal. I walked in and the first thing that caught my eye was a gas powered echo backpack leaf blower. The staff was not very helpful at this other pawn shop, I asked how much for the blower, they quoted about $25 off what the price tag said (less than a 10% discount). Not much of a going out of business sale...But after sleeping on it overnight, I went back the next afternoon to make the purchase. To my dismay, they had sold it earlier that morning. Now, i was slightly devastated. I know, it's only a leaf blower, but I fell in love. I immediately starting searching the internet for another one that would fill that void in my life. To my surprise, Uptown Pawn had just listed one about 4 hours earlier. I called the store and spoke with the owner. He made me an unbelievable deal. I drove straight to Uptown Pawn and brought it home. My hope is that this added addition to my small engine toys will last another 10 years. This is a LONG time overdue, but this place is AMAZING! I have only dealt with Ben, but each time I am greeted in a friendly matter. He has always been MORE than fair especially compared to other shops. Everyone seems very knowledgeable and friendly! Support local business, GO HERE!!!!

I ordered a bow release from them and it was missing some wrenches to set the tension. I contacted them and the next day they got back to me and I had the components in the next two days plus they gave me some extra money off for the hasstle. Great business men!

I just purchased a ring from Michael (the owner) over the internet and my experience was nothing short of remarkable! Michael was easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable about his product. I would absolutely recommend Uptown Pawn to anyone!!!

Good place to pick up cheap video games for all platforms! Staff is friendly and helpful, unlike at max-it pawn where you are greeted with contempt for asking a question. This place gives me the most loan money for my items. I was glad to read another review that also said this was hands down the best pawnshop in the TC's. That and the owner's willingness to respond to these reviews and try and make things right make this no contest.

Uptown pawn is great!!! Ben is awesome when it comes to knowledge of sneakers with P-town kick$ available in-store, as well as his Dad when it comes to jewelry and precious metals and stones. I would recommend to anyone trying to get a loan quick cash for anything including gift cards and sports merchandise as well!!! Kudos!!!
